Small town pressure, especially for my wife

Hi Brushhog, thanks for bringing this up. BTW, were your ears burning last Friday? Your name came up a couple of times at our PP lunch, nothing but superlatives of course.  🙂

So my wife and I live in the same small town that we grew up in and that was great when we were raising our two boys as our sons couldn’t say boo without us knowing about it! But now that our boys are grown it has downsides as everybody knows your business. Plus my wife has three sisters living within a mile of us and they’re constantly on her back about the vax. I feel like a polygamist without the benefits, har, har. Seriously though, the stress of it is aging us both.

    >>> I too, am in sync with posts 16 and 17 above, so I guess I’m not insane……

LB86, I had lunch with 8 other PP members last week and that feeling of “it’s not just me, I’m not insane” had me smiling for days. Not having to explain my worldview was such a relief!

SecurityGirl, I also share the concerns expressed in replies 16 and 17 but even if you don’t agree, it’s impossible to ignore the profit motive IMO. There’s just too much money involved for me. Also, coming from an IT / computer background, I have a hard time trusting version 1 of *anything* as complex as these vaccines.

      Another pissed member

    >>>I sincerely apologize for the lack of clear and consistent communication, which you know is something I always prefer.

Chris (and Adam), you could’ve prevented all of this by communicating with us *before* you went dark. Nothing that would break an NDA had to be disclosed, a simple “I’m going to be offline for a few months for private reasons” would’ve worked for me. But just ghosting us, WTF?

    >>>Generals always fight the last war, right?

Ding, ding, ding…Haven’t heard that expression for a while but it fits perfectly here.

How to prepare for 1 year from now

Hi Peter, it’s impossible to predict a year out but IMO yes, you should add some PM’s to your holdings…Best, Wilco

      Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot book

New member, first post. Great website and discussion here, thanks.

Anyway, not sure if you guys have seen this book? Stunning photography, depressing content:
