Reply To: Difficulty canceling Peak Prosperity membership

    Hey Chris,

Thank you for doing that, and thank you for all the sage wisdom over the past year.  I wish I could stay a paying member, but things are getting a little tight.  While most expenses are increasing ( and there are eviction moratoriums here in Vegas), there is no controlling rent increases.  Our Landlord told us that our rent was going from $1250 to $1800, and if we didn’t like it, he had 5 people from kalifornia who would happily take it.  The wife and I ended up moving into a 5th wheel and the start a new adventure.  Maybe I can resume contributing back again soon.

I really miss the clear, concise, truthful, and trusted reporting and analysis of Peak Prosperity.  Lately, I am having difficulty trying to put all of the puzzle pieces together.  One thing is for sure……I don’t know what is really going on in India right now, but I do appreciate seeing the O2 concentrator (I bought a year ago) and the little pile of horse paste in storage.

Thanks again and please keep up the good work.

Any suggestions on how to spot fake silver?

I put up a little article on fake silver a few months ago:

    https://www.peakprosperity.com/forum-topic/buying-pms-and-fake-silver-on-the-street/

There is A LOT of fake stuff out there now, with more each day so please be careful.  I have found sticking with a reputable dealer is one of the best ways to avoid problems.  If I do buy Ag in a new shop…or somewhere else…I usually stick to the 1 Oz rounds that can be validated by the bullion ping test app.  There are other tests you can do, but usually involve more than your EDC stuff.  There’s also a good gold and silver section here on the forum to learn from and ask questions to.

    Good luck,

    Jim

      Shortwave Radio Discussions

This is part of my rig next to my Lazyboy:

Both systems use the RTL-SDR ($35 Amazon) in different ways.  The top one is an old Fire Tablet running SDR Touch ($9) from the App store.  The bottom is the old Gateway running the HDSDR (free) software.  Both have just old rabbit ears for antenna.  Both are also currently monitoring the local Ham repeaters, but can be used for a vast amount of frequencies and applications with different antenna(ae?).

    Cheers,

    Jim

RTL_SDR ‘s are great.  I run one on an old Gatway mini laptop, and another on a Fire tablet.  The waterfalls are very helpful…and kind cool.

Silver Bid/Ask spread is now $1?

I see that the Bid/Ask spread is now $1 on Ag.

Is this significant in any way?

    Thanks,

    Jim

      Horse paste and vaccination?

Thank you all for the posts.

We got our first vacc. shot today, and we will also be taking our weekly horse sauce for at least the short term:

    Cheers,

    Jim

      Ammo Craziness These Days….

Looks like Federal ammunition is starting to sell directly from it’s website.  Not cheap, but something….
