My little family unit moved from Seattle this past year, in February... Less than 2 weeks before the covid-19 insanity really started to make itself known in the states. We were blessed to have literally falling into an amazing RV park, literally across the street from the Hat Rock State Park that's located in Eastern Oregon, just outside of a town called Hermiston. Beautiful place, and it was like we were on another planet during the first 8 or 9 months of this year, only when we went to the Walmart in town did it become apparent something big was going on. I'm a military brat, and because of that I moved constantly when I was younger, attending at least 5 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 5 high schools, but still managed to graduate with honors, extra credits, and an acceptance letter from Northern Arizona University. However, despite all the moving, I consider Tucson, AZ to be the closest to a hometown I have. I had to put school on hold when I was going through my divorce and after that some unforseen health Issues for the last half of my 20's till my mid 30's, where I had to have numerous surgeries on my right leg, until finally having to have an above the knee amputation a month after I turned 30, back in June 2013. Despite the dark times in this past year, I finally started school again. Since I prefer online classes, the remote learning being implemented hasn't bothered me much. I've been taking classes at University of Phoenix since July and I hope to finally receive my associates degree by the end of 2021. I'm aware of the fact that I will most likely not need this in my life, but it's been crucial for me personally to at least finish what I started almost 21 years ago. I've been blessed with 2 amazing son's, both if which ate pretty much grown up now. Michael is 20 and lives with my parents in Tucson, where he was accepted into the University of Arizona's Medical School this fall, where he's studying Psychology. Matthew is 16 and is studying graphic design and game development, although he's more interested in photography and music, and will be shifting gears over the next few years from one subject to the other I'm sure. He's an honor student and has a heart of gold, bigger than the ocean. My boy's are positively the most important thing I have ever been a part of in my life, my greatest joy and biggest blessings I could've hoped for. I love with the love of my life, Derek, who's truly my better half and my best friend, but most of all, my compass, because without him I'd be completely lost. We've got our dog (who thinks he's a human) a yorkiepoo that we rescued from an abusive situation in Las Vegas. That was in December 2013. His name is Roman, after the book of Romans I'm the Bible, although every person who knows him has a different name for him. I call him Doodle Bop, Derek calls him poodle myosin...
