Humans were created with a natural immune system that has served them well for thousands of years to combat flu bugs….
Yet, amazingly, Millions of people have died through thousands of years plus, from viruses… Go figure!
I, for one, am glad this is–mostly–an apolitical site. Too many times those arguing politics, on both sides, speak only the ‘facts’ that will back up their arguments and leave out half the real story. Makes me want to call Paul Harvey back from his ‘new home’. Hmmm, is that too religious?
I’ve found that my own political views don’t fall into anyone’s camp, and, more and more, I just feel that politicians are squabbling over the remains of empire, dancing to their overlords’ piping.
As I’m gearing myself to survival mode, I am more apt to say–the hell with them and the horses they rode in on. If they aren’t liars and thieves, they are gutless wonders.
Wow, guess I’m kinda political, after all. LOL Maybe we should just throw the whole mess out and start over???
Time to start making some Faraday cages??? Maybe…just sayin’. Easy to make a small one…
I forgot a daily b-complex tablet and, very important, milk thistle to protect my poor liver.
This really, as some say, ‘chaps my hide’. Could this happen here, by government edict? Could this continue as food becomes scarce?
Amazon has bidet attachments pretty cheap. I ordered a couple of them.
Hmmm–the pros and cons of…those actions. “the handouts to” jumped in there all on its own oops LOL
The future could be much brighter if our population was made up of people who could and would take responsibility for their own actions. Then they could be approached from a reasonable point, could hear the pros and cons of the handouts to those actions and then be willing to act on a well thought out plan. Who am I kidding–that describes a small minority of our countrymen and women. I think we will see another massive power grab and the handouts to those who don’t need them will finally push us into a depression that will make food slaves of most of us. I think the way to survive will be to have a place–not big enough to inspire envy–with a dependable water source and reasonable soil. Food and water and the ability to blend into the landscape will save some of us. If we’re fortunate, we will find others of like mind to share books, music, and intelligent discussion with.
