Super Weird Memo concerning British lockdowns

I understand the concern.  I went thru this in 76 with the Swine Flu vax push initially to staff…and although I was young and healthy, work guilted me into getting it to protect the patients.  I wanted to be a good nurse.  I was a very sick nurse within a few days of vax and in the hospital for 3 weeks and didn’t return to work for 6 months.  I almost died.   OF course…it wasn’t due to work related anything.   Just luck I guess.  Another RN got GBS…paralyzed and although she did end up eventually being able to walk…she never returned to nursing.  I’ve spent my whole career being vaccinated for the good of my pts for all the recommended pushes…except for the first few years after my bad experience.  I am retired now.  I am also not a guinea pig.  I was in 76 and it was a painful lesson.   I just think if they force people to get vaxed with experimental med to be able to work…then the employer should pay your wages and disability if it is needed.

Most people committing atrocities have to filter the language to dehumanize the people as data points, otherwise their consciences get in the way.

Good Point.  You would think they would not be so out front with it.  But there is that video of Dr. Baric’s lecture…saying some pretty interesting things along the line of if you want to make money on a pandemic…this is how to do it.

I guess I would like to understand WHY someone would go to all the trouble?  I am an analyzer personality…or behavioral style depending on the training…and my greatest need is to know WHY someone would do or say something…and then and only then I know how to respond.

I hope it is fake.  I really do.  But I tend to be rather naïve about evil intentions of evil people and have had that bite me this last 16 months.

I trusted the science, the data…I love the stats.  Now I am so disillusioned and feel we are being lied to constantly. Can’t trust who is giving us the numbers anymore. IF you told me 2 years ago that they would deliberately design a study to fail so they could not give cheap and effective meds…just to push a vaccine…I’d have called you a conspiracy theorist.  IF you said they would lock down the healthy to protect old people that don’t need us to sacrifice for them…I’d think you was pitching a science fiction movie plot.  I just don’t want my grandchildren to lose anymore of their childhood behind lockdowns and masks for no real scientific need.

Thank you folks.  I felt it had to be fake but I was having trouble believing someone would go to such trouble…but then again I used to keep my reading to medical and nursing related stuff and ignored everything else but family and garden.   I remember hearing that Boris Johnson had just said he thought this latest lockdown extension was going to be the last…so I thought is it possible?

I do know for a fact, however, that my state sent out disturbing public health policy ideas ahead of the vaccine and a fellow nurse/public health showed it to me.  IT was disturbing for it was suggesting ways to get POC to accept the vaccine due to historical distrust of vaccines.  One was if all else failed…then possibly inducing vaccine compliance by tying it to food stamps and housing benefits.  I am retired RN that also worked part time in a hospital social work office.  That’s how I got eyes on with the proposed ideas.   SOOOOOO the powers that be seemed willing to consider strong arming people or starving them if they don’t comply.  So this didn’t seen that far fetched after seeing my States ideas.

      Grease/Lubricant shortage coming

There is always a silver lining…and as a 40 year exp RN…I immediately saw your title  and went ” OH NOOOOOO ”  I need sterile lubricant for pts and also for my own daily medical procedures.   Then I saw the comment about “slow down the world of happy motoring” ..and realize it probably won’t be affecting water based procedural lube. LOL

    THANK YOU GOD…
