Just finished watching the video from last week.. there is sooo much ass to kick
bought a shirt in their new store (It’s also on the homepage – left hand side – middle of page). I can’t wait to wear the shirt through out my hospital. Hopefully it would be a conversation started – most likely with management as I get pulled into the office by ear
My whole family is medical…MD, RN’s Pharmacists so holiday meals usually center around the like. I’m fortunate that my family is open-minded and respectful. My healthy 70yr old parents are well -educated and prior to the jab I presented the (PP, FLCCC, ADE ) counter argument for the vax. I told them I really don’t care what you do just as long as you have all the information prior to making an informed decision. That’s what I always tell myself. I may not always make the correct decision but as long as I go through the correct decision making process than I can live with the results….kinda like CM says – I may be wrong but I’m not confused. They have never pressured me to get the jab and vice versa. My sister is very intelligent and excellent Peds ICU RN. Back in January she twice had appts for the vax but felt uncertain about it. She called me and asked what I thought. So again, I presented info from Dr. Simone Gold’s papers and info from PP,FLCCC etc. She was very receptive and has not gotten the vax yet. In fact, I think she has opened her eyes a little more to the big pharma/NIH machine. To be honest I think our weekly discussions/stories have strengthened our relationship.
My hospital and local CBS affiliate is constantly pressuring everyone. Giving daily stats of how many in the state have received X amount of doses etc. My hospitals goal is to have 90% of all staff vaxxed. As of today 68% of all staff (roughly 10,000 employees) have received at least one dose. That number has been 65-68% for about a month now which tells me they are gonna have a tough time getting 75% of all employees. 88% of MD’s have had the vax (remind you they were first in line and we started vaxing Dec 12 – I believe).
I personally haven’t had much pressure and those that know I haven’t got the shot yet tend to ask educated questions and we can have a discussion but we’re always respectful. Our friends don’t really care one way or the other.
My wife , on the other hand, has had enormous pressure. She is a Nursing Instructor at a very respected university. She is the only one in her dept that has not gotten the jab. Her co-workers make a lot of backhanded comments about “people that don’t get the vax” and “you can;t eat lunch with us b/c you haven’t got the vax” “Fauci says XYZ….”. She is physically strong as hell with a heart of gold but words cut her like a knife. She has cried multiple times at home and can sense large fractures at work being created. I have zero tolerance for that stuff. She loves her job. We’re excited that there is only a month left in the semester and re-evaluate for the fall. Im grateful that the university is not requiring the vax for entry next fall. As of last week only 45% of the students go the jab and it’s been easily available for about a month to them. I think if they were to require the vax for entry their enrollment would suffer..
sorry for the long post
Glad to hear you have a supportive MD as well – one of the very few. As we know, most prophylaxis protocols aren’t 100% but I’d agree that you may have had a much more difficult time if not taking any IVM.
I, like Brushhog, do not taking anything prophylactically other than vitamins. I’m young and fit and eat well thanks to my garden and preservation efforts. I just had my D3 levels checked (47) and my wifes (51) so that gives us a great baseline of our dosing for D3 supplementation. Since we live in South Dakota we don’t get out too much from Dec-March (although we make major efforts to) I’ll stop taking my D3, Zinc, Quercetin this summer June -August since I’m outside a lot and have minimal interaction with people indoors. Once school and fall come around then we’ll restart our regimen.
Hope you and the Mrs. get well
I’m still waiting for the CDC to revise their recommendation on wearing masks while having sex. It’s kinda awkward …..but….safety first!! 🙂
Once, while out walking I was just coming to a small local pond when a silent brace of ducks flew right over my head and glided onto the water. The only sound was the hiss of the air as they passed me. I’ve had many opportunities to appreciate the wildlife, and Ive watched the trees change daily with the coming spring.
This is one reason why I enjoyed archery hunting so much. I’d be in the tree stand an hour before sunrise. I’d see and hear things that not too many people experience. Nocturnal nature is fascinating. I once had an owl land on an adjacent branch less than 3 feet away – I don’t know who took the bigger shit – me or the owl
I would highly consider adding the aspirin as well
Thanks Dave for all your hard work, time and wit…Please post frequently….like every day??
I know not quite on subject but when mentioned IBM this came to mind…very interesting history worth listening to while doing chores
same video just slightly easier to find..
great 30 min video. very clear and concise. For those that have facebook please spread it around asap prior to it being taken down. Love the quote similar to “we do not have a pandemic problem, we have a vit D defeciency poblem” and also the soil depletion statement
