      45-min. Crash Course

There’s a 45-min. PAL version in the CM store:

Crash Course DVD 45-Minute Version (PAL)

Many DVD players and computer can play it…

Re: Free Subscription for Jason Kibbe

    Thanks Lucas — and Don,

It was nice to have a month of access to the Martenson Report and podcasts.  I don’t forsee me being able to afford a subscription any time soon, so I’ll have to try to ‘earn’ another month!  🙂

      Re: YouTube Update

Yeah, 6 weeks sounds about right!  🙂  I’ll be sure to keep future updates in this same thread, too!

Christopher, if you want you can post or email me the rest of the descriptions.  I might be able to glean some good stuff from your version and maybe do some editing of the versions that I posted.

Re: What Happened to the Crash Course Videos??

I may be misunderstanding here, but IMHO, if you can upload the videos in low quality and high quality, then why just upload them in low quality?

I know that when I see the "Play in High Definition" link under a video that I usually click it.[/quote]

    Richard,

Since the site has started using the embeded YouTube videos, I think the eventual plan is to upload the high quality versions.  First, the file high resolution video file needs to be created, though, which may take some time since Chris and the team are busy with other projects at the moment.

      Re: IOUSA

IOUSA is an awesome video certainly worth viewing.

Davos posted the 30-minute version in a Daily Digest a few days ago.  It’s almost as good as the 85-min. version, in my opinion:

You can also borrow a copy for a free home viewing with friends or other private groups here:

Re: Host the Crash Course videos on your own website!

Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that the videos will be renamed, so the other player is probably a better option.  The second player at the bottom of the sample page also has the playlist and it’s readable.  Plus it has a smaller page footprint, which is why I prefer it.  I’m not sure of any other workaround for the other player.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback!

      Re: YouTube Launch

Here’s a second embedable YouTube player option (playlist can be toggled by a button, not in sidebar):

    <object width="416" height="337"><param name="movie"
