Re: Buying Gold – START HERE

Thanks to Chris and everyone who provided feedback.

I did get a chance to review the guide and I would like to follow the starter set described.  At this point I’m finding it very difficult to navigate these websites.  With all of the various acronyms and in my opinion poor site navigation it can be a bit overwhelming.

I’ll grab the "Investing in Precious Metals for Dummies" book and see if that helps.

Is it possible to get the starter set in pre-1933 dates?  Is this something I should be concerned with?

Thanks again to all for the feedback.

Re: Gold Portfolio – Beginner needs help

    wiseone-

thanks for the response.  Can you tell me how I can determine if an item is numismatic?  My goal is to have gold/silver "just in case".  Before providing me with these portfolios, the gold dealer I spoke with told me that I should purchase "growth" gold because he believes that in a few months it will rise in value thus allowing me to sell it back and purchase additional "barterable" gold.  Does this make sense to anyone?

    Thanks again for the help.
