    Three Weeks to Go

Preparing for our only (and best!) US seminar this year
    by Adam Taggart

    Saturday, April 4, 2015, 1:20 AM

There are just three weeks left to go until the only Peak Prosperity seminar being offered within the US in 2015.

And something must be in the air this year, because we're seeing record advance registrations compared to years past. We've never maxed out on capacity before at this location, but we're now within 15 slots of doing so. So, if you've been planning on coming this year, you should register soon while there's still space.

This seminar weekend is going to be especially important. After 4+ long years of fabricated tranquility (the best market levitation $8 trillion can buy!), we are finally seeing the indicators that the central planners are starting to lose control of the system.

In other words: Reality is about to return from her forced exile. And she's not happy.

So there's an awful lot of new information and personal action we all need to process and prioritize.

Compared to past seminars, here are some of the new elements this year's weekend at Rowe will contain:

  • Updates and new developments Chris predicts are in store
  • Understanding the dynamics of the coming Great Wealth Transfer & how to position for it
  • Building resilience by investing across the 8 different forms of wealth
  • Identifying your value, community-wise and commercially
  • More specifics on physical preparation (skills to develop, gear to procure, etc)
  • Hard-hitting emotional preparedness exercises (are you — or your partner — on secure enough footing?)
  • More open Q&A time with Chris, Becca, Adam

Every year we do our best to improve the curriculum, and we're especially excited about this year's. With an over-abundance of new content, new insights on how to present material for optimal retention, an over-abundance of PP.com power-posters in attendance, and real momentum finally building in the macro environment — we feel comfortable predicting this will be our most directive and valuable seminar yet. And as past participants can attest to — that's a pretty high bar!

We're also very pleased with the mix of new and returning folks already signed up this year. As we always say, the biggest value from this weekend are the relationships with other concerned, conscientious individuals of like mind and goodwill that you will make here. This year's pool of participants looks stellar. Why not join it?

If you've got the availability and interest, come join us at Rowe in 3 weeks. Click to register by using the button below.

It's our favorite weekend of the year, and we're pretty sure it will be one of yours, too.

    Rowe Seminar: video coverage?

For an antipodean PP subscriber living halfway around the planet, would it be possible to make videos of the proceedings so that the likes of us can attend vicariously?

Previous seminars have attracted high praise and it would be highly beneficial to sit in on the classes and sessions. Even if the lessons are pre-recorded, learning this way is socially fulfilling and pedagogically effective, and makes a great change to poring over books

    Please please please!

    Ride from Albany Airport

I'm driving to the seminar from Albany, NY.  So far, I have myself and one passenger who will be arriving at 1:30 PM at the airport.  There's room for 1 or 2 more.  I'll monitor this comment thread, so feel free to post a ride request here, or PM me.

New Zealand is a long way from Rowe

I agree with ezlxq1949. It's not easy (nor ideal, given the PP community's shared commitment to resilience and sustainability) for your loyal antipodean subscribers to make a trip around the planet to attend the Rowe seminar. I would however (very gladly!) pay an extra fee to get access to podcasts (or video) from the seminar so I can hear the advice imparted. Thanks for considering this request.

I could take a seat in your car, both directions.  I will PM you more details a bit later if your OK with that.

    Only 3 spots left!!

    Wow!

We saw a BIG response over the weekend:

We went from 55 registrations on Friday to 65 plus 2 more in process today. So that leaves only 3 more spots available before we hit our maximum cap of 70.

If you're planning to come join us at our annual seminar this year, please register now — as in, right now. At this pace, these last slots will likely be gone by tomorrow.

Should the seminar fill up before you can register, Rowe will create a waiting list, which will give those on it the chance to come should there be any late cancelations. But to manage expectations, we've seen very few of those in past years.

Chris, Becca and I are thrilled at the interest and excitement we're seeing from registrants this year. Clearly, this is going to be one of the most engaged crowds we've ever had. We can't wait, and are eagerly awaiting meeting everyone who's coming!

What Time to Arrive on April 24th and Leave on April 26th?

I need to fly into Albany or Boston.  What time do we need to be at Rowe Center on 24th and what time can we leave on 26th to participate in this seminar fully?  I've not been able to find this seminar's schedule.  Thanks!

The Rowe weekend kicks off on Friday with welcome hors d'oeuvres at 6pm (check-in starts two hours earlier at 4pm).

The seminar wraps up at 1pm on Sunday, followed by a farewell lunch for those who can stay.

A sample schedule of the weekend is below (this year's will be similar, but not exact to this):

    Attire

    Adam,

Am I correct in assuming that the dress code for the event is business, except in the evenings when clothing is casual? Just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks

    Wow, Glad You Asked. Casual!!

    Stabu –

Glad you asked for clarity here. Please dress casually.

Rowe is a very rustic place, and the Martensons and I are pretty unassuming folks (Chris and I still fondly reflect on how our ejection from the corporate world allowed us to leave the suits, ties and chinos behind).

Choose your clothes for comfort. And warmth — it can still get chilly in Western Mass in late April.

    CARPOOL FROM GREENFIELD CIRCLE

    Dear All,

My wife and I live about 8min from the Greenfield circle, where I-91 and Mass Route 2 cross.  I would like to carpool with anyone who wishes, who is coming through tthat junction.  We can meet up in the "Big-Y Plaza" just off the circle or if you are uncomfortable about leaving your car in a mall parking lot, you can leave it at our house, which has ample off-road parking for my wife's violin students.

Anyone interested can get the 5cent tour of our net-zero-energy house that we moved into a year ago June.

    See you soon!

    Warmest regards,

    Jonathan Shay

    What About Seminar(s) for 2016

I just very recently started reading and learning about the information related to and contained in 'The Crash Course' and I would've loved to have gone to this seminar but alas it's too late…

Being that this is the only seminar for 2015…is there any plans in the works to have a seminar or multiple seminars in 2016?  If so, any idea of the time frame in 2016?
