Finally!

The audio version of our new book Prosper! How to Prepare for the Future and Create a World Worth Inheriting, narrated by Chris, is now available for download:

For those of you who have been eagerly awaiting the news — yes! — it's now available for download on Audible.com and on iTunes, as well.

The audio book can also be downloaded on sites like Audiobooks.com, and will available next month on CD, too.

AUDIO BOOK COMPANION FILES

A few folks have reported difficulty locating the companion files when downloading the audio book. If you have the same experience, here they are:

1) Visuals referenced in the book Prosper!

2) The "workbook" (a.k.a. our completely revised What Should I Do Guide?)

Click the links above to access each.

We went to great effort to get this audio version produced, as we know that many PeakProsperity.com members prefer listening to our content when they have the option vs reading it. If you're one of those folks, thanks for your patience while we worked to get this live, and we hope the wait was worth it!

    On Audible

A note to let you know that I was able to get the book from Audible before 9am EST by going to Advanced Search and looking for 'Narrator or Host.'  I was not able to search by the book's title or the author's name. I hope that you will be able to fix it.  Most people probably won't know to do that. (I have 68 pages of titles in my "library" dating back to 2002 so I have been searching that site for years!)

There are numerous books with the word 'prosper' in their titles. You may need to put instructions up on Peak Prosperity to guide people.

BTW there is quite a good guide on Audible for those looking to get their Technician's license for ham radio. I just got mine! There are also Morse Code apps that you can put on your smart phones. Might as well take advantage of the technology while we have it!

    Still don't have the book

I pre-ordered the physical book some weeks ago and still haven't received it.  Has anyone else had this problem?

    Thanks

    Books shipping this week

As we've been documenting here on the site, our bulk shipment of books was horribly late from the publisher, only arriving this past weekend.

Our local UPS store has been shipping the pre-ordered books out all this week. They are making good progress, though since there are hundreds of pre-orders and early December is their busiest time of the year, we are doing a good job of overwhelming them. At this pace, it looks like they should get every book shipped by Saturday.

When each book is shipped, the recipient is being sent an email with tracking #.

soulinrevolt: it looks like your book was shipped on Nov 30th and is on track to arrive next week. If you'd like me to re-send you the tracking link, let me know and I'll do so via PM.

All: needless to say, the extremely late delivery of these books to us has created a cascade of headaches that we've been managing every day for the past 2 weeks. Thank you for your patience as we fulfill everyone's orders. Everyone who ordered will get their books, as fast as we can get them shipped.

    cheers,

    Adam

    Finding the Book on Audible

    rheba –

The difficulty you're reporting is strange, as we and others we've asked can easily find the book on Audible.com with either of the following search queries:

    • "prosper martenson"
    • "prosper taggart"

Either of those bring up our audio book as the sole search result.

Alternatively, and even easier, you can simply click on the big blue button that says "Click here to buy the audio book" in the article above. Again, that will take you directly to the Audible.com listing for the audio book.

    Audio Book

I'm still waiting for the physical book also – but I knew it would be a while, so that isn't a problem for me.

Last night I had a look on Audible, but got daunted (because yet another website, that I'm likely to frequent only once, gets hold of my email address for more junk email) –  iTunes was another matter! (Thanks Adam!)  I logged on and downloaded it this morning and have been listening to it today.

My only complaint is that the pdf associated with the audio file doesn't have the 'Figure 1', 'Figure 2' etc label that Chris references in the audio. Some of the graphs/pictures are obvious, but I think he has referenced a couple so far that I don't actually have, or I've missed something on the way through. Either way, it would make it easier if they were labeled.

Also, if the first page on the pdf listed each chapter and how far into the 7h39min + file it is, this would be helpful also as playback by iTunes works, but is not enlightening as to chapter detail.

Thanks anyway for going to the effort of providing the audio book. I'm 3h45min in and my first resolution is to give up sugar in my tea (and with the head cold I've got right now, that is a major step!)

    Thanks again,

    Sharsta

    Get Well Soon

    Sharsta –

    First off, get well soon!

If it helps any, Chris is a huge fan of elderberry syrup as a solution for reducing the severity of a cold (although it works far better the earlier you take it).

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I will bring them up with our audio publisher (Hachette) and see if there's anything they can do to retroactively update the companion PDF.

We were rookies recording an audio book this time around and as such pretty much followed the instructions we were given to a "T", so there were bound to be some 'learning moments' in this process (and boy, have there been). But we're happy for them, as we view them as opportunities to do things even better on our next book 🙂

    cheers,
    A

    Audible Version of Prosper

I purchased the audible version of Prosper.  I am really enjoying it!  Throughout the book there is mention of a downloaded workbook and figures.  I don't see those things in my Audible version. Are they included and where do I find them?

    Downloads or Documents in Prosper!

    Hello,

I love your book first of all. It has proven a lot of what I have been thinking over the years. It is good to have a few like minded people around. People often think I am being paranoid when I talk about these things. I realize it is fear that is speaking for them.
