With September being National Preparedness Month, Peak Prosperity and St. Paul Mercantile are pleased to offer readers an incredible set of savings on the most popular stainless-steel body & ceramic water filter systems.

These highly effective, highly dependable solutions ensure your family will be able to create safely potable water under virtually any condition.

Specifically, St Paul Mercantile is offering us:

  • Special #1 – Water Filters 20% Off (through October 31, 2013)
  • Special #2 – Upgrade from Standard 2.6 gallon Stainless to 3.8 gallon Stainless for only $15!

Click here to take advantage of this offer, exclusive to readers.

SPM is introducing their new Crystal Drop Stainless Steel Filter bodies. They are the same quality as Doulton and Berkefeld, but cost less. They still equip them with the same highest quality Doulton and Aqua Cera ceramic candles. Available in two sizes, you can purchase either the standard-sized 2.6 gallon model, or buy the larger 3.8 gallon model. Other companies charge around $100 for the larger "Royal" model. They charge only $30, and with this special, you pay only $15 to upgrade. The 3.8 gallon model accepts up to 6 candles. The 2.6 gallon model accepts up to 4 candles. Food grade rubber plugs are provided for any unused holes. Both models will accept the longer 10" candles (Doulton and Berkefeld models accept only up to 9" candles).

You get to choose the type, size and quantity of ceramic candles for your filter body. More candles simply mean faster water production.

White CeraSyl Plus Ceramic Candles – Standard candles, suitable for most people. Remove bacteria and chemicals.
Black CeraCarb Ceramic Candles – Best possible chemical and bacteria removal. Cost more and are slower.
CeraMetix Fluoride Candles – Same as Cerasyl Plus, but also remove fluoride. Only single-candle fluoride solution.

Click Here to ensure you have a simple and cost-effective way to filter water in emergency situations and for everyday use.  Now is the time to get replacement filters for old and well-used ones or make sure you have backups for filter failure or to be able to help a neighbor out in their time of need.

We hope you continue to find these offers on essential resiliency items a welcome addition to the news and other articles on the site. We look forward to providing updates to the WSID Guide and Series in the coming year.

Full disclosure: Based on our existing relationship with St. Paul Mercantile, will receive a small commission if you purchase through this special offer. This will not impact the price you pay (in fact,as the offer states, you're getting an exclusive price discount not available to the public-at-large). The proceeds we received will be immediately invested to fund new features and functionality for this site.

We’d also love to hear any feedback based on your first-hand experience with the products and vendors that we recommend through these special offers (and elsewhere on this site). Our goal is to ensure that we’re doing our utmost to offer the best guidance for utility, value, and service.
