Full disclosure: Based on our existing relationship with SolSolutions, PeakProsperity.com will receive a small commission if you purchase through this special offer. This will not impact the price you pay (in fact, as the offer states, you're getting an exclusive price discount not available to the public-at-large). The proceeds we receive will be immediately invested to fund new features and functionality for this site.

    Hmm

    Oddly enough,

It is cheaper, if you only want one flashlight, to NOT take the discount and pay $29.95 and not have to buy another product you don’t need just to get over the $25. minimum purchase.

    Correct?

    Emergency light ?

assuming that the purpose is to have an emergency light source i am far more willing to spend 6$ on a light with a dynamo in it.

    lite this for example

    http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/30190857/

(interetingly it is marketed as a childs toy, but i keep it as a emergency light 😉

i am sure there are others.

and i am pretty sure that the total energy consumed is less for a small crank generator than solarcell+batteries. plus i can charge it again when ever i wish.

and if you whant to contribute funds, just give it directly 😉

Minimum Order Total has been corrected.

CS – I have spoken with SolarGoose today and they have adjusted the minimum order total to reflect the bigger discount they are offering.  This is the first time they have ever offered a 25% discount and their system needed to be adjusted to support this level of discount.  Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    lights arrived

Quick note..very promptly shipped, thanks.Standard Goose light is impressively small, about 6 inches, but equal (though 1 LED less) than my standard large and big clunky Bogolight. I haven’t dropped either but Goose is metal and seems sturdy;Bogo is heavy plastic. Haven’t submerged either one;destructive tests cost $! Different features…Goose seems to have permanently sealed batteries;Bogo lets you swap out rechargeable AA. Goose CM discount and free keychain light makes this a very good value, IMO.
I have another keychain light that is useless;still evaluating Solar Goose free keychain light that was enclosed. Works well casually, not sure if requires fairly frequent recharge.
    JMHO.
