    Divide and Rule

Weekly Market Commentary 5 December 2021
    by davefairtex

    Sunday, December 5, 2021, 9:45 PM

Unlike last week, there was no single driver of prices. At least not that I could see.

In economic news, there was the payrolls report [headline: +210k +0.14% m/m – vs +300-600k expected], durable goods [orders -.41% m/m, shipments +1.55% m/m], and autos/light truck sales [-0.73% m/m, heavy trucks +8.8% m/m]. Auto sales are still suffering from inventory issues [“bare shelves Biden!”], and payrolls came in lighter than expected. I’m guessing the burst of heavy truck sales are attempts to remedy the “bare shelves” issues.

Wolf has the detailed breakdown on changes in the labor market – lots of people appear to be striking out on their own. “Take this jab and shove it!” How many of these changes are driven by people quitting due to vax mandates? He notes that although the nonfarm report showed just +210k, the household report showed +1.14 million this month. Wolf doesn’t talk about vax mandates at all, although people have brought them up in the comment section.

People Balk at Regular Old Grind, Strike Out on the Own

Here’s an interesting chart on the divergence between employment recovery in “lockdown/vax mandate” states vs “more open” states. Paying people not to work? More fear about returning to work? People quitting/being fired to avoid the shot? Hard to say. According to Wolf, there are still lots of positions that aren’t being filled.

OMICRON! is still a thing. Apparently babies are dying by the truckload in South Africa. [I exaggerate – but not by much.]

https://www.thedailybeast.com/omicron-variant-puttings-huge-numbers-of-kids-under-5-years-old-in-hospital-in-south-africa
Omicron Triggers ‘Unprecedented’ COVID Surge Hitting Children Under Age 5 in South Africa
Do you believe this? I suspect the source for this is directly or indirectly funded by the BMGF.
Equity prices are not reacting as if this is a world-ending event. Equities did move lower [SPX -1.22%], but SPX fell just 3 of 5 days this week; there is still plenty of buy-side support. That said, the sector map was bearish – discretionary & tech led lower, with staples and utilities doing best. And forecaster is in a downtrend.

Crude was mixed also; I’ll show the daily chart to lay out the back-and-forth. Crude appears as though it might have put in a low on Thursday, although forecaster hasn’t yet come around.

Crappy debt rallied fairly strongly this week [+0.58%] – not a sign of impending doom – especially after cratering last week. Back during March 2020, JNK dropped hard. It isn’t doing that right now.

For gold – and silver – this week appeared to be about deliveries. Rather – about the banksters trying to dissuade people from taking delivery of actual metal by pounding price in the weeks prior to first notice day. Here’s gold daily vs delivery volume. Back in October, price dropped until the delivery day had passed, and then it rallied for a couple of months. This time the big delivery day was Wednesday. On the week, gold fell -9.46 [-0.53%]; it is is hinting at maybe putting in a low. Open interest plunged -73k contracts (or 7% of contracts outstanding). That was a big change. We’re much closer to a low than a high for gold. I think.

Prior to Thursday’s modest rally, silver had dropped 11 of 12 days, really quite awful. Is the decline over? Does Friday mark the low? Maybe. There sure were a lot of deliveries this week. And open interest [-15k, down -9%] has fallen to the lowest level in 18 months. This feels like a low should be near in silver also.

So, if babies were dying by the truckload (because – OMICRON!) the markets would be reacting quite differently. Oligarchy-owned Wall Street knows exactly what is going on – with the truth, and the narrative – and prices move accordingly. My guess: no truckloads of dying babies just based on the price action.

The economic news isn’t all that great, but neither is it world-ending. And we might be at or near a low for PM.

News That Caught My Eye

First, the “narrative” stories:

School shooting!  Parents fleeing justice!  OMG!

Source

Oligarchy has always wanted to turn the armed US into the unarmed Australia. This is just self-preservation. Who wants the peasants to be armed? No Pitchforks For You! They are definitely not stupid. So “school shooting” stories get the headlines for weeks.

ABORTION!!

It sure is curious as to how this particular case made it to the Supremes, after all these years, at this moment in time.  “Most divisive issue ever!”

Source

Focus on: WAR! ABORTION! SCHOOL SHOOTING! OMICRON!! Divide and Rule.

Distract away from: Failing vaccines, failed mandates, an Antifa Brownshirt who ran amok [apparently if you engage in mass murder with a car – its no big deal], Bare Shelves, the open southern border, and a 50-year high in inflation.

The absurdity of the current OMICRON “travel-ban” narrative:

Source

It is also a teensy bit ironic that the (allegedly) BLM-loving Oligarchy has ordered a travel ban on nations filled with Black people – some of whom have zero cases of the dreaded OMICRON – especially given that OMICRON has already arrived!

Conclusion: “The OMICRON travel bans are – almost certainly – not about OMICRON.”

Vax mandates could be viewed as yet another way to “divide and rule.” Sure, a bunch of people (in both “groups”) die. But who cares! You gotta break a few eggs to make that omelette, amirite Brandon?

One in 44 U.S. children diagnosed with autism, new data suggests

Experts believe the increase in U.S. autism numbers reflects more awareness and wider availability of services.

A separate CDC report released Thursday said that children were 50 percent more likely to be diagnosed with autism by age 4 in 2018 than in 2014.

Millions Facing Heart-Related Illnesses Due to ‘Post-Pandemic Stress Disorder’ – Experts Warn

Source

My prediction: PPSD incidence will increase the more boosters the Oligarchy forces us to take.  Its a dose-dependent effect.

Turns out we’re seeing an old playbook.  “The shots are Safe and Effective.”

I did a spreadsheet summarizing vaccine breakthroughs by age bracket using the German RKI data, over the last 4 months.

Four months ago, 26% of deaths in the key 60+ group were vaccinated.  Today, 48% of the deaths are among the vaccinated.  What will it look like next month?  And this isn’t immune escape – it is simply a rapidly failing vaccine.

Source: the weekly reports from RKI.  The table I got the values from is (roughly) around page 20-23.  (content changes each month)

https://www.rki.de/DE/Content/InfAZ/N/Neuartiges_Coronavirus/Situationsberichte/Wochenbericht/Wochenberichte_Tab.html;jsessionid=294F529980892EC6956AF10DAB6ED9D4.internet092?nn=13490888

This is an extraordinary excerpt from RFK’s book.  Really extraordinary.  A must read.  Tess Lawrie is an absolute tiger.  And Andy Hill – he’s just a pathetic excuse for a human being.  He has been corrupted via Unitaid, which is funded by You Know Who.  Tess Lawrie has the conversation on tape.

Hill’s corruption, and the sponsor of said corruption, led to millions of deaths worldwide.  As Tess said in the tape – 15,000 people, per day.

Ooooh, I have my new protest sign! 🙏🏻

    Thank you Dave, and Alex!

The question is this: If the vaccines work, what’s going on?

That is gonna look great on the new fluorescent green bristle board I bought 'specially for hum dinger, thought provoking things! I especially like this one since it ties in with what Prof. Desmet said - keep talking and trying to wake people up.

This should make for some interesting interactions! 👍🏻

Great report, Dave. Thanks, as always!

    I Like it....!

Jan I have several different protest signs. So I generally change signs depending on the location of the protest we are at. With your permission I would like to use your slogan: If the vaccines work, what's going on?

Of course if anyone asks I will give you full credit for it.

    Lowrie and Hill discussion

It is as bad as I feared.  Can’t tell you how many ED Doctor’s have cited the Cochrane study as the proof that IVM doesn’t work.

I have some compassion for the captured scientist who feels that he is not free to say what he actually believes to be true.

The person who pays you has powerful control over your actions.  Same with the board that grants you a license to practice.

I have heard that “it is just a job” and you should walk away from it.  But it is more than just a job.  It is also a mortgage, a spouse, a social strata layer, the kids violin lessons and the property on which you garden and solar panels sit.

Andrew Hill is not evil.  Just captured.

His wife may leave him if he reports Ivm works and is fired.  And the courts will award custody of the kids to the wife rather than the “unstable husband” who cannot hold a job.

his professional career may be torpedoed.  Will he need to find employment in a retail or service industry?

he may lose his dog too as he must move into a no pets apartment or boarding situation.

saying that IVM works can potentially destroy a life.  So I understand his problem.

    Sorry, cannot agree

Sand_kitty: as much as I respect you and your valued contributions here, I am unable to accept what you are saying re Andrew Hill. Yes, he is captured. That was a choice. He did not have to make that choice.... In contrast, we now see many thousands of others, such as doctors Lawrie, Kory, Marik, McCullough, Merritt etc etc who made the choice to serve their patients & humanity, and not the medical industrial complex. They are suffering significant repercussions as a result of their choices. We do not even know the half of it. They have my utmost respect and gratitude.

I have zero respect for Andrew Hill, or anyone else who chose to take part, for whatever reason. They are complicit in this crime against humanity.

    Oh. You mean the clot-shot.

I see that the Evolutionary Psychologist, (Insert name here), is pimping it. He has a first class brain, but is gymped. He was born with a gammy leg.

He came under a lot of psychological abuse from the Jocks in his schooldays. So it is a tad naughty of him to call them very intelligent for getting the jab.

    tradeoff

Hill made a trade-off.  His act helped consign 15,000 people - per day - to death, in exchange for keeping his funding source.  A win for his dog, I suppose.  But not so great for those 15,000 people.  Per day.

But at least they're strangers so its probably easier to pretend they don't matter.

Do we imagine that Tess Lawrie will ever do any work for WHO ever again?  I'm guessing not.

Well at least Hill threw Unitaid  (i.e. You Know Who) under the bus.  So there's that.

DF- what's the latest on Evergrande?

Seems that all has gone quiet so what's the latest on this? Default city yet? Collapse? 30% of GDP for China, how's that going? .....something brewing is my bet, does gold jump i.e. needs to be manipulated up as a way of dealing with debts or does Taiwan look better?

Apparently MSM has no idea Evergrande set for restructuring, with no word on first formal default (cnbc.com)

“plans to actively engage with offshore creditors to formulate a viable restructuring plan.”.........Hmm I wonder what "actively engaging with offshore creditors really means?  And what does a "viable" restructuring plan mean? ......trouble ahead I think.

Also- wondering if Powell might have been right with the whole transitory narrative, great die off sure will be deflationary, PPSD and all.

    Applause Dave!

Hear hear, this stuff makes me come back for more. Appreciate your work and effort Dave always informing us with a tad of humour, very witty! Takes the edges off and makes it more digestable.

I know you're not doing it for the laurels, still some appreciation now and then might motivate you to continue!

Observation on remote workers being overwhelmingly pro-mandate; would be interesting to zoom in, are these people hypnotized by their tv sets running MSM along there WFH setup 24x7? Are they really fed up with homeschooling and dying to get back to the office? It's more than the 30% to be expected Kool-Aid zombies.

My guess is Democrats are more likely to hold the desk jobs that can be done remotely, and blue states are more likely to be allowing or requiring remote work.

This could be a supporting explanation. I'm open to anything, just was impressed with the overwhelming pro-mandate voters in remote workers and their motivation. Not being a star in statistics so the outcome might as well be presented coloured to favour the audience/narrative.

    two updates: Omicron & Evergrande

Looks like the Omicron Panic ("all the babies are going to die!") may be behind us.  Still: just wait until all the vaxxed folks end up getting Omicron (because - vax immune escape).

    https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/global-markets-wrapup-3-2021-12-07/

Bulls back in charge as Omicron worries wane

There does appear to be some danger of reinfection in the COVID-recovered population, but the cases do not look to be severe.

    -----

    https://www.thestreet.com/investing/evergrande-to-restructure-include-offshore-bonds

China's Evergrande Group real estate company is planning to include all of its offshore public bonds and private debt obligations in a restructuring.

Last week, the company said that it has received a demand from creditors to pay about $260 million. It is already late in paying $82.5 million in coupons due on Nov. 6.

The grace periods for interest payments on two notes from Scenery Journey unit were scheduled to end Monday, potentially marking the developer's first default on public debts.

My sense: Evergrande is toast.  I suspect the CCP will bail out mainlanders to some degree, but they will allow foreigners to take the losses.  Although it wants to do this slowly, in fits and starts.  My guess is, Evergrande will default when some other news headline takes over.  Wall Street is of course cooperating in the whole default obfuscation/coverup.

And that 30% of China's GDP is - almost certainly - just gone.

Funny how the "bulls" operate almost exclusively in the overnight futures ""markets.""

Must be some sort of information that only comes out at night that stirs them so.

    crude

Well it was also the crude oil rally too.  That caught my eye, I mean.

Crude, after all, is civilization.  +1.95 to 71.47 overnight.

My guess: that "Omicron/President Grandpa Gas Price Reduction" will last about three weeks.  I'm also going to guess that (just maybe) the "OMICRON" panic allowed Wall Street to pick up some cheap oil stocks.

Collapse begins on the outside with the weakest and moves to the center and strongest

    https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/yemen-replaces-central-bank-governor-deputy-governor-amid-currency-collapse-2021-12-06/

Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi replaced the central bank governor and deputy governor on Monday amid an unprecedented collapse in the local currency.

The Yemeni state news agency SABA, quoting a presidential decree, said Ahmed bin Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Maabqi had been appointed central bank governor, and Muhammad Omar Banaja his deputy.

War-torn Yemen is witnessing a sharp deterioration in the value of its riyal currency, recording 1,700 to the dollar, an all time low, on the black market on Monday, according to traders and exchange offices. The central bank maintains an official rate of 530 riyal to the dollar.

Yemen is split between an internationally recognised government in the south, backed by a Saudi-led military coalition, and the Iran-aligned Houthi movement that controls most of the north. Each side has a central bank with opposing policies.

The Aden central bank in the south, which has access to international financial markets, has increasingly turned to printing new currency notes to cover the government's deficit and pay public sector wages, especially those of security and military forces.

This has stoked inflation and drawn criticism in the Houthi-controlled north, where only increasingly tattered old riyal notes are accepted.

    Followed your lead, Jan!

My sister-in-law heard about a local rally against the vax mandate advertised on the radio a couple of weeks ago.  She let me know about it in time for me to join in.

I had to get past my fear of participating first!  I was afraid of "going public" and potentially  losing friends who are pro-vax .  Or getting labelled "crazy" by locals (and such labels can stick in small towns).  But I did it despite those fears and possibilities. I don't think I could have lived with myself if I didn't; the fight we're fighting is too important!  And I have to tell you, it really did feel good to "walk the walk".

I also enjoyed the benefits Jan described of connecting with others who think like we do.  It was incredible...I'd say half a sentence and the next person would finish it.  And vice versa.  The rally might have been against vaccine mandates, but EVERYONE I talked to there was aware that there was more to it, that this was not just about public health.

The hard part was learning that many of the people we were protesting with were in the medical field and had just lost their jobs because they refused to take the vax.  Real people, real loss of income, real loss of careers, and real loss of job stature earned over years and years of personal investment.  It sure made it all real.  I've since participated in a 2nd rally, which was held despite cold temperatures and (eventually) hail!

You made me laugh at your excitement of a new sign slogan; I find myself grabbing for short/powerful slogan all the time now!  My sign:

    "Risks > Benefits"

    - Dr. Robert Malone

    - Inventor of mRNA Vaccines

    - re Children getting COVID-19 vaccinate"

I also put a pitch for Unity Project Online on the back of the sign:

    Working together to STOP COVID-19

Vaccine mandates for Healthy Children K-12"

So never under-estimate the power of being a role model.  You got me to seriously think of joining this local rally when the opportunity presented itself.  And now that I'm involved, my like-minded sister-in-law and brother are talking about participating.

Remember everyone, one person can make a difference!

Gosh, I have tears in my eyes...

Thanks, Pinecarr! Your comment really touched my heart.

There is no question that protesting - putting one's self out there - takes a lot of moral courage. I remember my first go... I was so scared and so tentative! It takes a thick skin too, to endure the put downs, some of which are nasty. But there is support which makes it all worthwhile! And which fortifies the courage. I am now a warrior, standing tall with the courage of my convictions.

You are so right, this fight is too important. It is for all the marbles. We who are out there can hold our heads high, that we are walking in our integrity, doing all we can to stop this evil agenda.

Kudos to you, my friend. You have in turn planted another seed: in addition to the notice board for protests, we need a forum to show off our protest signs. Coming up in a jiff...

[everyone - please add info for protests on the linked thread, and support the new thread I am creating to show off your signage creativity!]

Hugs, and you go girl! 👍🏻💪🏻🤗🙏🏻

    two observations

1- They are going to be going for the 6 month to 5 year olds next. That is why the Omicron is "killing" babies.

2- Has anyone else noticed that the new deadline is December 28 for everything? Is the 27th the start date for the wars and they hope no one notices all of the job losses on the 28th?

    The Oilman's Thrall.

If debt is the Bankster's Thrall, as Adolph put it, Crude is the Oilman's thrall. Without it Civilization is toast.

    Really? Perhaps not

The thing about science and physics is that it is prone to revolutions; Kuhnian revolutions, when yesterdays Truth becomes todays embarrassing eye roll. And, Oh Boy, the science and Physics models are up to their elbows in crocodiles.

The fact that there are infinities in Black Holes is proof that they exist? No, they are Not!  Infinities are proof that the equations failed.

And the SAFIRE experiment did Not disprove the electric sun model. And in the process of Discovery, they showed how nuclear transmutations occur naturally. Every nuclear reaction is 5 Million times more energetic than  a chemical one. (Oil). Not bad for five years effort!

So what's it going to take to displace the Oilman's thrall? How about an nice existential War? Death has a way of clearing the mind.

Really, War? Can't we do better than that this time? Professors at university confess that they just don't have the Time to read all the papers, and our popular science magazines are starry eyed about the Professors.

It is my Hope that this is where AI will come in. It can read and collate relevant data really fast. But then again, there is something deeply mysterious about how our consciousness hone in on what's Really important.

Our facility in the para-normal has been put forth as the acid test for sentience. Can AI remote view? Can You?

EIA Massively Overestimated The Potential Of U.S. Shale

So, why does Hughes believe the EIA has greatly overestimated recoverable U.S. tight oil and shale gas resources?

    1. Highly productive “sweet spots” are a small proportion of what are often depicted as very large plays.

    2. Worsening geology ultimately trumps technology.

    3. Wells can only be so close together.

    4. The rate of technological improvement is slowing. T

    5. High decline rates will inevitably overcome increased drilling rates and production will fall.

To get a sense of what the future holds for U.S. tight oil and shale gas, Hughes suggested looking at the Barnett Shale in Texas where the shale revolution began.

He explained: “The Barnett Shale is where ‘fracking’ was developed by [George] Mitchell in the 1990s. It went through the full cycle—drilling off sweet spots, spreading out to poorer quality areas with decline in new well productivity to uneconomic levels, and a gradual fall in overall play production at terminal decline rates as very few new wells were being drilled. Production has declined 60 percent since the play peaked in 2011.”

Hughes thinks we are headed into a future foretold by the Barnett Shale much sooner than the EIA will admit and policymakers and the public realize. We are not ready for that future.

    denominator

The batch thing is interesting.  A while back I sucked a VAERS download into a database on my local server.  Today I ran a query (after trying to clean up the lot numbers - people enter all sorts of things in there - my cleanup attempts didn't always work).  Here's the query & result.  Sorry its a bit long.  It looks nicer on my screen than it does in this post.

Concept: # of people who died, per lot, for moderna shot, through 9/26/2021, sorted alphabetically.  The thing we are missing, of course, is the denominator.  How large is each lot?

mysql> select count(*),VAX.lot from VAX left join Data on VAX.id=Data.id where VAX.type='COVID19' and died='Y' and manu = 'MODERNA' group by VAX.lot order by lot

    Everyone's "Enthralled".

as CM had correctly pointed out in his 3 E`s Course, those are all interrelated.

But, energy is the key to the other two, along with whom really owns it and controls it?

    The "Cabal".

"They" also have the hidden high technology to provide almost unlimited energy production anywhere needed all at ratios of 1,000,000 to one of inputs to outputs.

Release of this high technology would eliminate almost all of the converging problems almost overnight but the cost to the "Cabal" would be to destroy their own power and own control over everyone else.

They would rather destroy billions of lives and ruin the entire world environment before relinquishing it.

That fact is sobering and tragic, but, it is what it is now.

Resilience is one key to surviving the "Great Reset" but fighting and defeating

this vile eternal enemy is the only thing to ensure the continued survival

and advancement of all life on this planet.

Cochrane Review some history and are they to be trusted? Hill-Lawrie exchange

Below are some links which provide some history.  As you will see, the firing of  Peter C. Gøtzsche was over.......the safety and efficacy of the HPV vaccine.  Should anyone be surprised?

For those who have read the Hill-Lawrie exchange, it is of interest to me is whether Hill's involvement with Cochrane as suggested by Tess would have mattered in the Cochrane's assessment of Ivermectin.  That is not clear to me.  My sense (which is only a sense and not substance) that it would not have made a difference.  Tess might be able to shed some light.

2016 Cochrane is delighted to announce that we have received a grant of USD $1.15 million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
