Taiwan’s resilience prospects

Greetings, American who’s been living in China going on 6 years. Currently in Beijing.

I know for political/governmental concerns and so forth mainland China isn’t really considered for resilience prospects. I’m not here to stick my head in the sand regarding those concerns but I hope people on PP might be open to at least a more nuanced view of China generally, especially the social aspect and not get hung up in the political side.

That said, I’m always interested in Taiwan and other locations in SE Asia just as points of comparisons if nothing else.
