I’ve been at this kind (Preparedness, shooting, agriculture) of thing for about 7 years now, and I’ve actually dealt with the FBI and ATF.
The ATF experience was unpleasant, and the agents were bullish and unprofessional. But they weren’t Gestapo types.
The potential probably exists, but they weren’t threatening.
The FBI was surprisingly decent. Reinforced my thoughts that FBI agents are typically very stand-up, patriotic men and women.
Even with all that ability to gather intelligence, there still aren’t enough agents to go around targeting guys who own guns legally, support Ron Paul or want to encourage closer community.
The said truth is there really are bad people out there.
Most of our resources is going to tracking them down. The American "Militia" movement is a stagnant pool, and the Federals know that.
Static, if it comes, will be on a local level, like we saw in Missouri and Minnesota.
