Yes there are many types of corn – including 70 day corn – and if you plant now it would come up pretty fast since the ground is warm. To increase your chances of it being able to be harvested by that frost date – soak the seeds in water over night before planting.

It could take a while to get your seed if you don’t already have it (we buy from JohnnySeeds.com and they are pretty fast.

Next year – we plan on not planting until June – that is how the ole-timers did it before Monsanto.   EGP
