Re: Soil or PH Tester
Does anyone have a soil/ph tester? Are any of the ones you find on say Amazon.com worth the investment?
Under the influence of my expert new acquaintance Mark Fulford, I’ll say don’t bother with one. What it can tell you is a small fragment of what you want to know.
Mark says if you are where you plan to be, get and study Weeds and Why They Grow by Jay McCaman, then pay attention to what’s happening naturally where you want to obtain a yield.
If you must have technology, you’d be better off with a refractometer, which gives indications of quality of foods. Taste buds do, too.
