David Broder hits new low—Provides prescription for economy to help Obama:
“What else might affect the economy? The answer is obvious, but its implications are frightening. War and peace influence the economy.
Look back at FDR and the Great Depression. What finally resolved that economic crisis? World War II.
Here is where Obama is likely to prevail. With strong Republican support in Congress for challenging Iran’s ambition to become a nuclear power, he can spend much of 2011 and 2012 orchestrating a showdown with the mullahs. This will help him politically because the opposition party will be urging him on. And as tensions rise and we accelerate preparations for war, the economy will improve.”
Wow, so much written here about who wants to wipe what or who off where! The overwhelming negative response to linked article must have wiped the smile right off Broder’s face, of that we can be certain! And V…good on you, Mate. This one’s for you!
One of the comments, from a Terry Rudolph, who sends his comment, drone style, textually obliterating the enemy. Thanks Terry. The pen is mightier than the sword. Rock on, Dude.
This is the most irresponsible piece of sewage I think I have ever seen!
Of course i expect it from the the wingnuts – the rednecks and frat boys love getting their vicarious jollies off on the death and suffering of others – especially if they get to watch video links of it sent to them in emails from their oh so holy church members while they eat a sandwich and drink a beer – at home sweet freaking home.
You’re supposed to use some common freaking sense, man! This is disgusting. And I haven’t even begun to bring up the rational reasons this is wrong wrong and wrong!
I am sorry – it takes a small, disgusting human being to even think about writing such a piece of diarrhea
