    Re: Greenspan

How do you think it should be changed?

Section. 10. No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

My Comment:

There are 2 crimes listed in our Constitution by name, Counterfeiting and Treason — Maybe YOU want to tell me how YOU think it should be "CHANGED?" Personally I’d advocate we follow the GD Constitution and "Change" things to back before they violated it in 1913. Seems to me our Congress has been and is hell bent on drifting from the way things ought to be.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”

– Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Treasury Secretary Albert Gallatin (1802)

If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a civilization, it expects what never was and what never will be.

– Thomas Jefferson

“Lenin was right. There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.”
