Re: Any ideas on a haven?
I’m part Native American. Cherokee and Apache. I never left my roots. That being said, yes for the most part we have all migrated from somewhere else. Times are much different now than they were in the 1700 – 1800’s. Where could 300 million people conceivably migrate to safely? The population of the earth is much greater now, and the unmolested land needed to support that many people, no longer exists. The population of the United States in 1800 was 5.3 million people. As of 2007, Los Angeles, CA – Population 12.9 Million. The estimated population of the US in 2050 is 500 million. If 300 million people try and leave in masses, it will be hell. And when everyone leaves, what left of the once great USA now? We give it up, let China, Canada, or Mexico have it? Or we could let the socialists have what they want, they will be left with a bunch of empty land and their **** in their hand.
Beyond that, we came here to have a better life and be American. Now were going to throw that down the drain so we can dissolve as the United States? Just doesn’t make sense to me. I’m so very proud to be an American, and I will always be. All the people you speak of migrating, I’m sure they are proud to call themselves American. Otherwise I can’t see why they would have come here.
Dr. Peters, I understand that you must do the best for you and your family. If I had children, protecting them would be my first and only concern. If I had the option I can’t say that I would turn it down either. Look what Jim Rogers did, up and moved his family to China, his little girl is now fluent in Mandarin and English. His choice of wife and mother is a little disturbing, I think she is around my age, but to each his own.
