I left the NE a long time ago so I am not aware of anything in that regard. I am a Real Estate broker however and can see that you have 2 options. One is you might have to look for a smaller less expensive piece of land. If you are wishing to do ag you do not need 100+ acres. It is not the amount of land you have it is what you do with it.

Your 2nd option is to expand your target area. There are much less expensive properties around the country.

I suggest you also read up on Joel Skousen who has written widely on these subjects. I have his book the “Secure Home”. He also has a book “Strategic Relocation”. Both are excellent resources. Good Luck
