Hi Y'all,*

I recently moved to Central Texas with plans to buy a small house/land and go resilient. I thought it'd be a good thing to organize a real-life/real-time meeting of kindred souls with hopes of forming an in-person community with a three E focus. Anyone interested? If we can get enough folks here interested, I am thinking we could initially meet for a happy hour (but could be other venue) and maybe make it an on-going thing. In any case, I would love to hear what everyone is doing (or their plans anyway) to make their life more resilient. The Internet is a wonderful thing and so is PP, but nothing can beat real life.

(I'm giving this poll 4 weeks)

Survey for meet-up around Austin

Hey there, Lisa, welcome to Texas!

I would be interested in a PP meet-up around the Austin area sometime, but suggest we make it in a smaller town near Austin? I dearly have loved Austin forever, but the darn town has gotten so big, I hate wasting time driving in/through it. Would rather spend that time talking with folks?

It's about a 3.5 hour drive north for me right now, which is fine. If you get enough "yea" responses, I'll be happy to work with you on a possible location that would be easier to get to for most responders.

How does that work for you??

best to you and all here,

Interested in meeting up

We are new to the Austin area and are interested in meeting other PP people.  Are you still attempting to

get a group together?

We are interested

We are in the hill country about 2.5 hours west of Austin. Sounds like a good idea to meet some likeminded folks.
