Before this poll, had you noticed the new drop-down menus in the site header navigation tabs?

Gee.  How was I supposed to

Gee.  How was I supposed to know?  I have not figured out how to effectively navigate the site, but wait...  There are changes.  Can you guess what they are?

some thoughts about the drop down menus

First note that i really am big fan of your site and use it almost daily. I operate multiple sites myself so hope to be able to give some feedback.

Personally I find the drop down not clear because I do not know what the drop down contains until I hoover over them. E.g. I really had to think where to find this group on the site (it is in DISCUSS but then I had to navigate back from FORUMS to GROUPS, and my current page is highlighted as PROSPER but I guess I am still in GROUPS). There also not so consistent: some menu bottoms contain submenus choices but others don't, and there are actually two menus, one on the left ( starting with the The crash course) but also one on the right (starting with wsid ...), this is confusing. It is not clear to me what kind of content a menu such as "PROSPER" would contain.  From a more technical point of view, I find the drop down them difficult to use because I have to hoover exactly above them in order to click on a submenu.

Of course with many returning visitors and interesting content, people will find their way to navigate, but for first time visitors it can be confusing.

Hope this helps and I am happy to provide comments if appreciated!
