Dollar Holding Firm Despite Inflation
The dollar started the week with support as traders bet U.S. inflation data and appearances from several Federal Reserve officials would bolster the case for higher interest rates.

Norway blows up hydro dam to restore river health and fish stocks
The dam’s destruction is part of a trend to remove the obsolete barriers that litter Europe’s waterways. It is estimated that there are at least 1.2 million instream barriers in Europe and that they are a factor in the massive drop in the number of migratory freshwater fish across the continent, with numbers declining by more than 90% between 1970 and 2016.

A colony of 60 million fish has been discovered in Antarctica
The discovery of the world’s largest fish breeding ground shows how little is known about the ocean depths.

Rob Kirby Interview - Those Steering Our Monetary Ship are Moving Themselves into Tangibles NOW

Liberty and Finance has a good interview with Rob Kirby, founder of KirbyAnalytics.com: "Those Steering Our Monetary Ship are Moving Themselves into Tangibles NOW"

“If you are holding dollars, and dollars are no longer the currency of the realm, you get a big zero,” declares widely followed proprietary analyst Rob Kirby. Kirby returns to Liberty and Finance to connect the dots between runaway currency creation, dark government books, and a covert move by the elite into tangibles, buying up America’s real estate across the board, and getting out of dollars into hard assets including gold & silver.

Kirby gives a call out to Chris and the Crash Course during his interview, as he frequently does.

Kirby speculates that Iran, Venezuela and China are be settling international trade (oil) using crypto, since they are not allowed to settle trade in dollars.  At ~21:30 he talks about globalism.  (If I have time later, I will edit this and add more topic timestamps).

FOR those unfamiliar with Rob Kirby, he has deep experience in financial markets and dealing in precious metals (https://kirbyanalytics.com/author.html).  In addition, he’s a good critical thinker.  So I enjoy listening to his interviews and insights.

    Kory podcast

World renowned CV19 critical care and pulmonary expert Dr. Pierre Kory says the data is clear the CV19 injections are “not safe, not effective” and shows they are causing a huge number of deaths.  It’s going to get much worse if we don’t stop the shots.  Dr. Kory warns, “They already broke death records with these vaccines almost a year ago.  Now, you are starting to see it in actuarial data with life insurance companies.  The life insurance companies have been paying out claims like they never have before, and they are noticing the deaths cannot be explained by Covid. If you look at the actual morbidity and mortality from the CDC . . . 2019, 2020 and 2021 in the ages of 18 to 64 . . . you’ll see in America, starting in quarter two of the year 2021 (when the vaccines started), the mortalities started to rise, and it rose from 120% above normal to 140% above normal, and it’s far exceeded the death rates in 2020.  The difference in 2020 and 2021, we had covid in both years.  In 2021, we had the vaccines.  They know the amount of deaths they are reporting cannot be explained by Covid. . . . There is something else driving a huge and extremely terrifying mortality signal in the U.S. population.  To think that it is anything but the vaccines, if we get this wrong and if you keep saying they are safe, that line which is already in a significant and steep incline will continue the more we boost and the more we vaccinate. . . . This has to stop.  We have to stop, people are dying.”

Meanwhile, the captured regulatory agencies like the CDC and FDA are trashing and cutting off proven scientific cures for Covid such as Ivermectin.  Dr. Kory says Ivermectin has been proven effective in defeating Covid infections, and he says, “It is “one of the safest drugs ever brought to market.”  Dr. Kory also says the so-called experimental vaccines “are not safe and not effective.”  So, why do government agencies push them anyway?  Dr. Kory says, “I have had a front row seat to see this.” . . .  And he goes on to say government agencies are suffering from “regulatory capture” by big Pharma.  Meaning, the FDA and CDC push ineffective and dangerous vaccines so Big Pharma can make money off them, while disregarding cheaper, safer and more effective drugs like Ivermectin.  Dr Kory gives a real-world example during the pandemic and explains, “Prescriptions in this country (for Ivermectin) in August were hitting 90,000 per week.  So many doctors were using it for Covid that it spooked the pharmaceutical companies. . . . In response to the massive uptake in the use of Ivermectin by physicians with prescriptions and pharmacists filling them, the CDC went on the attack.  They sent a bulletin to every state department of health which was full of propaganda and misinformation screaming the FDA has not approved Ivermectin (for treating Covid) and it’s not a proven drug, and it’s dangerous and there are overdoses and all of these things that were false.  It went to all state departments of health.  But guess what happened next?  The medical boards and the pharmacy boards started sending that to every licensed physician and pharmacist in the land.  The average physician and pharmacist, I am sorry to say this, is not well read.  They are not keeping up with data.  They are overwhelmed and they are easily influenced.  That’s why in this country you have a war between the physicians that know that Ivermectin is effective . . . and are at war with the pharmacies.  A huge proportion of pharmacists will refuse to fill a decades-old safe drug for Covid because they have been threatened and manipulated by their boards.  They are afraid to lose their licenses.  It all smoke.  It’s all B.S. because you cannot lose your license for use of a safe drug. . . . We need our doctors to do doctoring, and we need our pharmacists to do pharmacy and stop being influenced by propaganda by pharmaceutical companies who don’t want you to use this drug.  We have to stand up, and we have to resist on behalf of our patients.  We are finding that with compounding pharmacies and small pharmacies we can still get access (to Ivermectin), but it is a battle and you do have to navigate.”

Former Pfizer VP Dr. Michael Yeadon said this week, “Max vaccination is leading to mass death.”  Dr. Kory agrees and explains, “It’s not only data from a life insurance company that came out this week that is based on CDC data that can’t be explained by Covid alone, there are huge increases of dying in this country this year. . . . They have done huge analysis of the European mortality data as well as the U.S. mortality data and they controlled for vaccination status.  They found that for every age range that they looked at, the all-cause mortality of the vaccinated were increased over the unvaccinated.  All-cause mortality and that means that you are more likely to die of something if you are vaccinated. . . . All-cause mortality are coming out of actual databases by credible scientists.  You have life insurance companies showing the data, and you have our own federal government showing unexplained large rises in dying. . . . Don’t you think a good scientific question and a good hypothesis to test would be ‘Could these be the vaccines?’  The answer is ‘the vaccines,’ and I cannot find a better fit to answering that hypothesis than that, it’s this mass explosion of this vaccination policy with single, double and booster shots.  It’s going like wildfire through the population.  If the mortality of the vaccinated is higher than the unvaccinated, you have the data that you can safely and confidently conclude the vaccines are associated with and causing death.”

In closing, Dr. Kory says, “What has happened in the last month or so is the data for adverse reactions and effects are no longer hidden and suppressed.  They are coming out on servers . . . and actuarial tables.”

Dr. Malone "Bushwhacked by Alex Berenson on Fox News"

Did anybody else see this?  Berenson comes off poorly in this exchange, in my opinion: he demeans Dr. Malone's claim of being the inventor of mRNA technology and Malone's claim that ivermectin has been proven to work.  No worries; Dr. Malone methodically puts Berenson in his place,  countering his demeaning claims with facts, and calling Berenon's low-blow for what it is.

    WTF is right Pinecarr....

I was checking up on Alex B's substack late last night and I started reading the comments on his post about the recent Alberta data being taken down - data which clearly shows what we have known all along, i.e. that post first dose there is a period where your immune system is so addled that you show negative efficacy against Covid-19 infection.  At first I couldn't figure out what was going on since the comments literally had nothing to do with the post, but they were universally negative on something Alex had done to attack both Ivermectin and Dr. Malone.  Down the thread I found links to the Fox news incident and it's frankly just bizarre.  The comments against Alex for doing this are BRUTAL.. and they should be.  Lots of people openly unsubscribing..  For somebody who claims to be one of the rare journalists seeking truth and doing it with integrity, what Alex did was inexcusable.  He used up any goodwill he had with me, that's for sure.

Substack is a democracy in that commenter's help create the "truth credit score" of the writer, and the best writers engage with their commenters in the comments.  Alex has done great harm to his reputation and it will be very interesting to see how or even if he responds.  I have lost faith in Alex as being useful guide in seeking truth.

Re: Dr. Malone - inventor of mRNA vaccines?

I think it’s very unfortunate that the language to describe Dr. Malone’s contribution has been unnecessarily and probably intentionally muddied.

From all I have seen, the correct statement is that he is the inventor of technology that was used to create mRNA vaccines.

For the average dummy in our society, “inventor of mRNA vaccines” is read as “inventor of Covid vaccines”. And then, that strawman is used to attack him as a making a false claim.

Even more unfortunate, it seems that even Dr. Malone himself doesn’t feel it’s important to be precise about this. Hence, all the back and forth and disagreements.

I felt exactly the same way after watching the video clip, Jim.  Like others you mentioned, I immediately unsubscribed from his sub-stack.  I just don't trust Alex anymore.  At a minimum, he made unsubstantiated claims, which is not cool.  But on top of that, he did so in a very un-classy way (in “attack mode”).  He was not initiating a respectful debate, grounded in integrity.  Given that, I’ll take a “no-thank-you portion” of Berenson in the future.

I don't see any confusion Dr. Einmund...

As one who has dealt with invention and patents in the realm of semiconductor process technology, I would suggest that it is important to understand the difference between a seminal patent or idea, and the rush of incremental stepping stone patents that follow.  The work of Dr. Malone was seminal.  He was the first to show that this idea of injecting the protein making instructions into a cell via mRNA was feasible.  Everything that followed was incremental.

I would direct anyone with interest in this story to read a long Substack article written by Dr. Malone's wife, a PhD herself.  They lived this history together, and it's very eye opening as to how people in positions of power in pharma and academia took advantage of him during his early years.

    One aspect of the story that struck me in particular was that, at least at first, Robert was the only person who could successfully synthesize working mRNA on the bench - again indicating just how seminal was his discovery;

      https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/a-scientific-education-the-early

A Scientific Education: The Early Discoveries of RNA and DNA Vaccination
as by written Jill, my wife of 42 years.

.......At the Salk Institute/UCSD, he did his thesis work under Dr. Inder Verma on RNA structure and DNA/RNA gene transfer. The first realization that DNA in itself can produce an immune response was when Robert began collaborating with a post-doc in Verma’s lab by the name of Dr. Daniel St. Louis in 1987. Dr. St. Louis was working on a hemophilia gene therapy model in rabbits using retro-viral transduction techniques. Dr. St. Louis kept having gene expression stop at about two to three weeks post-treatment and he was sure that this loss of gene expression had to do with the promoter he was using. Dr. St. Louis talked with Robert Malone and Robert got obsessed with this puzzle and spent day and night poring over Dan's data, medical texts and journals. Then, he had a brainstorm. What was going on was that immune responses were shutting down gene expression. It had nothing to do with the promoter Dr. St. Louis was using. He presented all of his work and thoughts to Dr. St. Louis. This was the intellectual exercise that led to Robert discovering RNA and DNA vaccines at that time. Note that Robert is acknowledged in the St. Luis paper (St Louis D, Verma IM.
An alternative approach to somatic cell gene therapy. Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 1988 May;85(9):3150-4. doi: 10.1073/pnas.85.9.3150. PMID: 3283738; PMCID: PMC280161).

In fact, Robert talked with me extensively about using retroviral vectors for genetic vaccination during this time, but thought that the dangers of retroviral vectors were too great and that the FDA would not allow for this to be licensed. However, this intellectual challenge led to this idea of using DNA and RNA delivery for vaccines. By spring 1988, his ideas about DNA and RNA vaccination were cohesive and formed the basis for the research plan that Vical later developed.

As a witness to what these ideas represented and the timeline of when the ideas and experiments were performed, I know that Robert was obsessed with gene transfer and immune responses long before he went to work for Vical in 1989. Robert’s first paper on RNA/cationic liposome transfection (PNAS) (which now has 747 citations) as well as published papers on RNA/DNA/cationic liposome transfection and embryonic transfection, were researched and written in 1988.

This paper, in concept so simple is anything but. It may be the most significant research paper in the field of therapeutics of the later part of the 20th century. Yet, until recently if was almost completely unrecognized......

.......When Robert decided to leave the PhD program, he took a position at a brand-new company called Vical, Inc. in January 1989. He did this for me, so that I could finish my undergraduate degree, as well as so he could continue his research, before returning to medical school in Sept 1989. The plan was this would be a temporary position (8 months duration). Dr. Phillip Felgner recruited Robert into Vical to continue his research and set up a gene delivery/DNA/RNA program. Robert had already been collaborating with Dr. Felgner, who had supplied him with cationic lipids for his experiments. But Robert had the ideas, designs and experiments for this program. The program came from his bench at the Salk. Dr. Felgner was a chemist, not a molecular virologist. Dr. Felgner then became his supervisor.

Robert was put in charge of molecular biology and then immunology (the only employee in this section being himself), with only ten people at the company. In order to quickly ramp up the program, Dr. Felgner encouraged Robert to bring over all his reagents, plasmids and stocks from the Salk Institute.

The fact that Robert brought over all his research materials, including DNA/RNA constructs, plasmids, reporter genes, cell lines, cationic lipid formulations (“Lipofectin”) was why the results came so quickly at Vical, as that initial transfection and DNA/RNA vaccine work was just an extension of what Robert had been working on previously at the Salk Institute. Privately, Robert has always said that it was like casting pearls before swine, as they had no idea the gift they were given. Later we were told that the reason Vical and Merck never pursued RNA vaccination was because they couldn’t make RNA after Robert resigned from Vical.

In early 1989, soon after joining Vical, Robert had been working on in-vivo cationic liposomal transfection and needed to perform blinded rodent studies. Vical did not have animal resources set up yet. Thus, he designed the experiments, made up the plasmids, DNA, RNA and reagents, wrote out directions and sent samples to Dr. Wolff at the University of Wisconsin who injected rats with blinded samples. We still have those lab books, set of directions, etc. Robert had cloned the plasmids (at the Salk institute as well as Vical) and worked up all of the reagents himself, He stocked the Vical lab with his stocks from the Salk, which he had transferred to Vical.

Malone is an intellectual giant IMO.

    Ego Trouble

Edit: While I was composing this, JimH made his elegant post above, I defer to his superior knowledge of the background.

I recall that Malone said he was irritated that U of Penn was promoting one of its own for the Nobel Prize in Medicine for inventing mRNA vaccines, and canceling out other's contributions, including revising Wikipedia entries. Given the stance he has taken w.r.t. the Covid vaccines, Malone has concluded that if he is modest he will lose any acknowledged credit, and he is undoubtedly correct. I think it would be close to accurate to say that he feels if any one person has claim to the credit for mRNA vaccines, it likely is him, but I also recall he credited the creators of the liposome packages as making a crucial contribution.  Whatever. This will sort itself out with time, but credit will not accrue to the modest.

Alex B suspects Malone does not deserve exclusive credit, and I think Malone would agree with that. However, if any ONE person deserves credit, it probably would be Malone. In any case, it was very stupid of Alex B to be dismissive of what to me seems to be the reasonable posture of Malone, given that Malone is the most effective spokesman for the anti-vaxx agenda, and that his effectiveness in getting the world to listen is enhanced by his credibility as an mRNA technology originator. It is this status that makes Malone someone that cannot be ignored, whereas most of our other champions can easily be ignored by the uninformed. This was stupid, but can be covered by Alex B. in an apologetic explanatory essay, if he wishes. I have no doubt that Malone would accept a gracious apology, both for the sake of Berenson, The Cause, and himself.

What is very hard to understand is Berenson arguing that Ivermectin is as yet unproven. Anyone so involved in this topic as Alex should have figured this out by now, and it will be hard to trust his judgement from now on, unless he knows something we don't, which seems impossible. Very surprising self-immolation, indeed.

    a purge?

From a "get more subscribers" standpoint, this was definitely not the right move to make.  Clearly, that's not his motivation.

Might he want to purge the "early treatment clan" from his followers?  Because he thinks they are too Trump-like and they give him a bad reputation?

Alex also doesn't believe long covid exists.  It is being "medicalized."

Alex did do an interview with RFK which seemed mutually positive.

I recall maybe a year ago, Alex posted a tweet that said, "am I going to have to spend the weekend reading ivermectin studies?"  And then nothing more.

My sense: his motivation was to provide distance between himself, and the "far-right" (double-vaxxed, who voted for Biden) Dr. Malone.

It will be interesting to see how he responds to this.  Alex isn't stupid - he knew his remarks would be just this explosive, and what the reaction would be from the "early treatment" gang.

We'll get some more clues soon enough, I suspect.

Regarding Alex - a Winston Churchill quote comes to mind:

"If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favorable reference to the devil in the House of Commons."

The text is a picture grab from a Daily Beast article.. so folks are going to have to click on the link.  Alex is blaming the victim for his "grandiosity".

Wow, what a piece of work!

(I was going to comment more on what he said, but accidentally deleted it!  But the comments under Alex's substack post are great for more insight and conjecture into.  Overall, his fan-base does not seem pleased with him!)

A switch in focus is required.

We, myself included, have analysed the health effects of Covid ad nauseum.

It is time to switch our focus onto the consequences of the needle-craft. This tale has a long tail. I would like better minds than mine to explore whether the Saxons are doomed to extinction by an attack on our Gonads.

In my august opinion, we went wrong when we decided to use our resources to bomb brown people instead of doing what we have always done when faced with overpopulation; emigrate.

Dr. Gerard K O'Neil offered up his business plan to Congress to abscond to the le Grange points and beyond. Congress went mad and canned it. Why?

Obviously Congress knew something we didn't. They had the photos of the back side of the moon.
