Yet there will be no depression - Garth Turner

I've mentioned Garth Turner a few times here. Although I'm not a huge fan of his writing style I've been following his blog for some time (haven't read his books yet though, no time). A link from one of his commentators actually led me here to the Crash Course so I have to give credit to that.

He does recommend gold but not much and he's currently saying that the markets are going to bounce back soon.

Here's his latest post but check out previous entries as well.

I invite you to check him out and I'm interested in hearing what any of you have to say. I realize this is a Canadian perspective but our economies are joined at the hip and we are following the Americans like sheep down to the valley of debt.

My computer won't let me in there because it thinks it is a hack site. Sure that is the right link?

Just go to http://www.greaterfool.ca

Others might also be interested in his XURBIA site where he's selling emergency preparedness and off grid items. He's also blogging there occasionally too.

That dude is a good marketer.

Seeds look to be hybrid, though.

Well... what more could the gov'ts around the world do to """stimulate" the economy?  I mean... there's nothing else?  They're being so hard-headed about this issue.  Don't they know that the "jolt" idea is a farce?  It's like trying to start a car by focusing on the sulfation issues when it's really the corrosion built up at the battery posts... Just get rid of the corrosion!
