Yes We Have No Jobs Today, Dec. 12, 2008

A few of the notices within the last 24 hours

But first, a little pick-me-up:

I don't know about you, but it seems pretty obvious to me that the Fuzzy Numbers on employment that our "government" has been feeding us are better characterized as Hairy Numbers...  A measley 100,000 today, 50,000 tomorrow; after a few weeks, were talking about entire poplulations of some mid-size states.

OMG!   Listening to that kid play reminded me of  Leo Kottke (google him), a freakin guitar maniac in his own right.  Leo is middle aged and has done nothing else his whole life, and this kid is ALMOST as good.   Yow.
