Warren Pollock: Chris Martenson Mirror?

I've posted a few videos from Warren Pollock because his views so far resonate with almost everything in Dr. M's core message.  I'm starting this thread to post future vlogs from Warren in one place.  Here is the latest from Warren - the last bit was especially familiar:

Re: Warren Pollock: Chris Martenson Mirror?

PS:  I should have probably titled this thread differently.  "Mirror" is boring - who wants to hear the same thing over again?

By "Mirror", I mean the conclusions are very similar.  What is interesting is that it's a very different approach but reaches the same same end points.

Another "Mirror" is that I find similarities in the approach - detached, dispassionate, and objective.  I'm sure both gentlemen are very passionate, but passion in delivery only helps with people who already agree.  Dispassionate, detached explanation is essential in engaging those who may have preconceived hostility to the subject matter, or the very conclusions reached by the message.

Anyway, hope Warren's observations and approach are helpful to some.

The Great Reset

The following are Pollock's "meat & potato" (my words) series, together called, "The Great Reset".  Admin:  I hope I am not violating any rules by posting a whole thread on another blogger - or in this case, a vlogger.  I assume the purpose of the CC site is to spread a central message to advance a greater good, and I believe Pollock is spreading much of the same message, but the difference in approach is educational.

Re: The Great Reset

Great thread, Farmer Brown!  I think Warren Pollock's and Chris's messages are tuned to the same station - "reality"!  I also really like how complementary Warren's material is to Chris's.  Give him a try, folks!

Hi "Farmer" (your secret's safe with me!),

Do you know anything about Pollock? I've seen a couple of his videos before but I haven't been able to find anything about him on the Internet yet.

Its nice to hear another person articulate and validate many of the feelings I've had of late.  Its a great thread and one worthy of keeping up.

Pollock on the Dollar, DOW, Gold and Oil

This is a good one.  Pollock expresses his views on what could be around the corner for the $, DOW, Gold and Oil:

Re: Pollock on the Dollar, DOW, Gold and Oil

Excellent find.  I'm pleasantly surprised to hear some of my own musings about a change in the dollar's direction (in the short-term) echoed in Pollock's video, and having seen this now I've learned a couple more things that reinforce this position (plus it's just nice, as a newbie to this level of economic analysis, to see some validation that I may be on the right track).  I'm not 100% in this or any camp, but I'm definitely leaning ever more heavily to the near-term strong dollar camp.  I'll have to follow this guy Pollock closely in the future, and I like that he states his hunch of a direction change in the dollar in the next few weeks as a possibility rather than a certainty.  Like Dr. M. here, it seems that he keeps his mind open to all possibilities without an excess of ego or rigid thinking.

Re: Warren Pollock: Chris Martenson Mirror?

Thanks for the new video Farmer Brown. When he asks do you feel like you have more money or less money around right now.....is a very good question. I would say all that I see are people having less money at the moment so this is very deflationary I would think. I just started getting short this week & last week....call me crazy but I went long the dollar too (its only play money anyway LOL). I just can't bring myself into the market long at these levels other than a day trade.

Re: Warren Pollock: Chris Martenson Mirror?

I've watched most of the Warren Pollock clips and I don't get it. This guy isn't anywhere close to being in the same league as Dr. Martenson. In fact he seems kinda like a buffoon to me, but who am I to say. Sometimes incongruous, other times vague, he seems to offer only conjecture and opinion instead of the well researched and documented analysis I find here. With my limited time to spare informing myself, this site (especially the Insider Reports) remains at the top of my list, while Pollock simply isn't even on my radar screen.
