Visualizing a Plenitude Economy

Here is a great whiteboard video of what our economy can be....

What can we do to make this happen?

Our prep work is in the right direction... and we need more of

the mainstream to wake up to creating a "plenitude" future.

Technical....Can't edit original post...Can edit comment

It looks like the (video:URL) tag using sq brackets....does not work with
the youtu.be domain... does work with pasting url from bar  youtube.com

ALSO, Why can't I edit my original post like I can my comment?

IT would make for cleaner posts...

Looking forward to new forum software that I presume is still in the works...

Adam???

Yes, it's still in the works - along with many other improvements that will launch at the same time. Timing = January.

I hope folks can be patient until then. I know some of the shortcomings of the existing platform are frustrating.

Plenitude idea

Okay. This makes sense. Well presented. I like it.

Like the video.. it's something I've felt for a *long* time...

and I think people are waking up.. slowly, and often due to necessity rather than foresight.. but.

I like it. It sounds sweet.

I like it. It sounds sweet. It sounds simple. There must be something wrong with it. I'll visualize it anyway. Aloha, Steve

I like it. It IS sweet!

After posting the previous, I got to thinking about my situation vis-a-vis the shorter work week.  I just hired a part time guy to help at the front counter.  He works 4 hours a day and it has allowed me to come in late and leave early.  I even get more of MY job done (working on the business, not in the business-KWIM?).  Win-win.  I've even noticed many business owners I know that come into my business who talk of  business being off maybe 20-30%, actually seem more cheerful.  Yeah, things are a little slower, but the bills are getting paid and there is definitely  less   stress.  Don't know if there's time to downshift on a massive level before the crash, though....Aloha, Steve.
