Tribal solutions

What we are presently experiencing is a failure of authority. In a heirachy we wait for the top to act to save us. It is a long wait. We can rail against the machine and blame those in power but nothing of consequence is going to change. So what can we do?

One of the bloggers I most admire is Ran Prieur and today he has another great post quoted in part below(March 16). http://www.ranprieur.com/.

My suggestion remains to form human scale groups with our neighbours.

pir8don "My suggestion remains to form human scale groups with our neighbours."

CM "As I look forward from here, the advantages of being in a strong community shine compellingly bright."

Community:  a new [old] form of wealth.  IMO the most important.

Re: Tribal solutions

Thanks Sager

We need to hope for a crisis sufficient to stimulate community but not destroy it. Can we achieve it in our neighbourhoods by more intelligent means?

I know nursery rhymes are means of passing down old learning but I miss the point of your quote. Can you explain?
