Storing and Insuring Metals

What are the different metal storage options and what are the pros and cons of each type?

Do people insure their metals?  What are the pros and cons of this option?  If you do insure them what are the best practices?

Is there a way to search these forums?

There is a search box in the upper right corner of nearly every page that you will find helpful.

What about insuring metals?

What about insuring metals? - I can't find anything on this topic on this website.  Does that mean people don't do it?

 See Chris's article Buying

See Chris's article Buying Gold and Silver, under the Take Action menu at the top.

Also, the Financial Sense podcast has had some detailed discussions about storage options in the past.

Choosing the right form of storage that meets the security and accessibility needs of your particular situation and circumstances is probably the best form of "insurance".

PMs are really a form of insurance themselves against a loss of value in the Dollar.
