Ron Paul: Culprits Of Financial Collapse Should Be Arrested

Congressman Ron Paul says that the people responsible
for the economic crisis should not be hailed as saviors and given more
power to fix the problem that they created, but arrested and criminally
prosecuted.

Paul told the Alex Jones Show that the only way the
private Federal Reserve could be brought under control would come as a
result of a mass uprising, noting that there is a lot more awareness in
Washington about the Fed’s contribution to the economic crisis.

My take is that Paul is telling us that others in congress, and hopefully the senate, see what's taking place and need strong support from the people to take on the powerful banking oligarchs. The Fed is our biggest problem - they are parasites that prey on the real economy.

The Congressman has two bills before Congress, one to abolish the Fed altogether and another to audit the organization.

“Today they’re protected, they’re in total secrecy and
they’re protected by the law - if 1207 is passed we have an audit and
they have to answer the questions and I figure, if we ever get that far
and get the exposure and get the transparency that we need then people
will wake up and realize, why do we have them at all,” said Paul.

Like vampires, the Fed would melt in the powerful light of a full audit.

Asked if the people who caused the economic collapse should be trusted
as saviors or criminally charged, Paul responded, “We should have
minimal government, but even in a minimalist government your government
is supposed to deal with theft and physical harm and fraud, and that’s
what’s going on and that’s what they ignore or protect….it’s horrible
what they’re doing….and they should be prosecuting these people, these
people should be in prison.”

Investigate under RICO statutes - seize their assets!

Asked how bad the economic picture would get, Paul responded, “I think
it’s going to be very prolonged, I don’t see any rebound, markets may
come back up and that sort of thing but to rebound I would expect it to
last every bit as long as happened in the 30’s,” adding that the last
depression did not really end until after a world war.

“I think it’s going to be a long long time but now we live in greater
danger because people are far more demanding, they believe they have a
right to their neighbors property and that’s why there’s liable to be
violence….ultimately they’re going to destroy the dollar,” said the
Congressman, adding that the only quick solution to the crisis was to
follow constitutional principles.

A dire warning from Dr. Paul but also some hope.  We can take our country back...end the financial servitude that comes with being a central banking client state.  It doesn't matter which nation you are from; the battle is the same - do you want citizen rule and sovereignty or will you accept the new world order of banking dominance?

The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks  -  Lord Acton

I completely agree.  I'd be willing to help with such a popular uprising.  I just don't how it's possible until things get real real bad and people wake up.  One can only hope they aren't able to lock down the people somehow (literally or figuratively) before the uprising starts.  But until things get bad, almost anyone who hears about this stuff considers you a nut job when you tell them about it because you're not repeating the same cookie-cutter talking points that ABC, CBS, NBC broadcast.

Any ideas how to drum up "strong support from the people?"  Ron Paul just isn't enough...it seems.  There will be no help from the Dem/Repub one-party system.

If you know what the Fed is all about and you possibly can go, you must.

I wonder if the feds will interfere with these events and stoke violence like they did with the WTO protest in Seattle.  The good thing is it's probably too many cities to pull it off.  On the other hand, if they think this protest will get good coverage and stir support, they're going to want to pollute it somehow.

good thought, strabes

I think this one is going to be much bigger than the 11-22 one. I was there and there was a single park police officer with his car. He got to cold to stand outside after a while, so he let us do it while he sat in his car and idled it to warm himself.

This one is already getting more attention. I expect any mainstream news coverage of it to be negative and it's certainly possible that any negative things that come about will be "stoked," so to speak. The sheeple will respond against whoever appears to be the aggressor as portrayed by their trusty television's "most trusted news service." Then again, the nationwide, 30+ city protest might just be completely ignored, except perhaps by "Russia Today" which reported on the last one...

I'm heading for Washington D.C. for this one -  maybe other Crash Course advocates would like to meet-up in Washington or other cities?  Do you, or anyone else, think it would be a good idea to start a CC sign-up to meet at the various national events?

absolutely, Larry, please do get a sign up going in whatever format you can.

I absolutely would be at this event in DC, but I will be attending the Virginia conference that weekend instead. I will do my best to rally other people to show up!
