'Overdose' - the story of the greatest financial crisis you will ever see...

... the one that is on the way.

This appeared on the Australian 'Four Corners' program on Monday 23rd, August.

It is a warning that the worse is yet to come.

Apparently, one must live in Australia to view this program. Unfortunately for me, I don't so I can't. Any way around this? Looks interesting.

That's a bummer.

Try searching the net for 'Overdose- The next Financial Crisis' by Martin Borgs

You may find it around even in multiple parts.

Here's an interview with the film maker, Martin Borgs

I've never run into a situation that you have to live in a certain country to view a video on the internet.  Censorship?  Don't know, but strange.  BTW:  Can't find it anywhere!

Re: 'Overdose' - the story of the greatest financial crisis ...

This movie is a 50 min swedish production, first show at "Politics on film" festival in Washington DC, May 8 2010. It´s available on Youtube, but I only seem to find the Swedish version there, www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzP9v7oKzbQ

It was also broadcasted on TV in May here in Sweden, and I guess the production has been sold to Australia and other countries as well. Official homepage is www.overdos.se

Ironically, the housing bubble in Sweden is still intact, the banks just keep lending money...
And people here are really not that scared of borrowing, how stupid is that in 2010, after all that has happend. And will...

LogansRun,

the permissions based on nation is likely because someone just bought the distribution rights within Australia.

Most of the Swedish version film is in English, just some of the commentary is in Swedish. At least in the version thats available https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5748830/A_verdos_-_Den_kommande_finanskrisen_(Swedish)

(use the download torrent link, not the big green button that tries to trick you -- you need a torrent client, like utorrent, to download)

My guess is that most of us here knows everything that is in that documentary.

watched the film. thank you GoldinMind.

I think the film does a good job of demonstrating the point that we are currently living in a worldwide mother of all bubbles.  All bubbles eventually burst.  How this is going to manifest I dont know.  Will this lead to a crisis of all fiat currencies and will it force nations to adopt a gold standard?

Gold standards prevent the expansion of currency when populations grow. I would much rather have the Greenback....back.

No tie to anything else. No one printing printing printing. Just a transferrable store of value that is devisable and agreed upon. Controlled by the next Congress.....not the Fed.

In the meantime watch out for the SDR and the renminbi as it seems the fight for world domination via currency is on.

Re: 'Overdose' - the story of the greatest financial crisis ...

You are welcome.

It could play out many ways. But a crisis in most fiat currencies is one of the likely outcomes. I don't think we are going to see a new gold standard though. There is no political will for that and people won't request it. Rather, there will be new fiat currencies. Some of them reformed and guided by better principles, others evene more phony than the current ones. Regardless, gold (its purchasing power) will appreciate strongly in case of a collapse of one of the major currencies.

GoldInMind,

Thank you for posting the link.  That is the most concise and powerful explanation of the financial causes of what got us in this mess that I have seen.

It will never be broadcast in the US, TPTB will not let that happen.

Everyone, please send that link to all you know in the process of waking up.
