I can't believe it took this long for someone to come up with this 'theory'.

I'll bet monkeys had something to do with it. You can't trust 'em.

Uh, no.

Aha, the crack technical staff at Natural News is at it again.

It wasn't an Air Burst, Near Surface Burst or Surface Burst - had it been, the mach stem(s) would have been very evident and wiped the area flat.

If it was an Earth Penetrating Weapon (EPW) we would see evidence of ground shock coupling on the surface.

Now maybe if it was a North Korean nuke.....because they pretty much suck.

Or a nuke disguised as a surfboard that came in with the tsunami.....

C'mon mainebob, Natural News?  Really?

Better off going with TMZ and worrying about what kind of underwear Snooki isn't wearing.  Now that's a disaster in the making.

Dogs

That's hilarious!  Does working with atoms promote an outrageous sense of humor?  Or were you just born that way?  Smile

Probably both....

Understanding that nothing is so bad that it can't get worse, I use humor as both a pressure release and a defense mechanism.

Otherwise, all of what is going on in our world will consume you.

And sometimes a thread topic just begs to be shot at......not mainebob, but most certainly the thread subject.

Natural News? And l bet they have a homeopathic cure to fix it. Or perhaps some candles to stick in your ears.

Re: nuclear weaponry destryed Fukushima

Everybody knows that the tsunami destroyed the plant.

It was the tsunami that was caused by earthquake-inducing laser beams from secret satellites in outer space owned by the Bilderburgs in collaboration with intelligent lizards from Saturn.

Prepared....up to H

I'm prepared....

Johnny O's concern about Monkeys...
I just installed high tech Monkey Detectors
at the borders of my property...
and my bananas are kept in sealed buckets with
oxygen absorbers..... so far so good... no Monkeys...

Dogs... Ya, that Snookie thing is a disaster...
again, I'm prepared.. I went ahead
based on josey's recommendation
and at the moment have high quality
bee's wax candles in both ears...

...Not sure if I should light them...
'cause I've heard you can get alot
done if you burn the candle from both ends.

...off to make more preparations...
I'm up to "H"...

Why do I visualise Groucho Marx saying, "I never thought you'd need Prep-H, since you're the pefect A$$-H*!e".  Of course  this is just a joke Bob, you're from Maine and not from Mass.

this is getting weird.....Memo to self: No more Natural News

Close but no cigar.  You got the time frame right.  Dobie Gillis featured Bob Denver who later stared as Gilligan in Gilligan's Island.

Bananarama?

Probably wrong, but Bananarama sticks in my mind. I remember the names. Too bad I can't remember what I said last week.

Was it that circus show?  I cannot remember the name of the show, but remember seeing it in re-runs in the late 60s.

Don't know the first show he was in, but I believe the drummer was Mickey Dolenz. Do I get half a point if I'm right? Pleeeze?

And by the way, where exactly was Mickey on the day of the tsunami/Fukushima event??  HMMMMM? Just sayin'......

Bingo!  It was Circus Boy.  Every boy's dream life.  Living in a circus, no parents bossing you around, and his own baby elephant.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circus_Boy (The link is for your edification.  I knew the answer before I looked it up.)

I thought it would take an old dog to answer this but the prize goes to a younger dog.  " ... remember seeing it in re-runs in the late 60s."  Yeah.  That's how I knew about it too.Wink   Nice work Dogs.  You get three bonus points.

Micky Dolenz was indeed the drummer.  He appeared in Circus Boy under the name Mickey Braddock.  Note the "e" in Mickey that he later dropped.  For honorable effort Earthwise you receive one bonus point.  Thanks for playing What A Waste Of Time with us.  Now back to your regularly scheduled program.  I'll behave better, I promise.
