I had trouble watching it. I was laughing so hard I had to take regular breaks. All I could think was " Oh my Dog there is no stone left unturned and this will set a new record for its descent into the basement"

Of course the usual suspects will be commenting on both sides.

With an Apple TV.

Its just one possibility, but I use my Apple TV everyday and love it. I'm very surprised that its not more widely used.

You can search and watch Youtube directly on it (without a computer), but with long videos I usually download them and convert the video to play directly on the Apple TV. The devices basically acts as a wireless bridge between your computer and TV.

If you have iTunes, it will work with a PC as well. You do have to have a high-definition TV however, and a modern wireless network (or ethernet connection near the TV) to make it work.

Ok V, they say that laughter is the best medicine. Do you want to share some of the more humorous points?

Re: Just released documentary, 'Invisible Empire'

Hi John

I have seen all of Alex Jone's videos plus many more. As anyone who has been on this site is at least somewhat aware of the issues in his videos.

This one just about hit every nail on the head. Every topic is covered in one CT thread or another (more likely multiples.) My laughter is the vid had so many reasons to get tossed into the basement here (NWO, NWO , NWO, NWO NWO ,...........) I just could see it having a very short life upstairs on the main page. Alex's productions are getting slicker that is for sure.

The Gay thing was worth a few laughs all on its own though.

I am amazed it is still upstairs.

He did miss one thing though........AIPAC.

Nice post.

I didn't realize it was an Alex Jones production, I saw the first few minutes and thought it was created by the Loose Change production crew. I'm afraid I have no interest in watching it now. Thanks anyway, John.

V,

Maybe it's still up because the Mods and CM are finally admitting that it's not "theory" any longer.

Jeff, I'm not a fan of Alex himself, but much of the info that he brings forward is valid.  Kind of an immature reaction IMO.

Alex Jones gets pretty emotional at times, which hurts his credibility because journalism is supposed to be unbiased.  He does make a lot of credible points, so I find his stuff worth watching.  Allowing other points of view and being skeptical about everything is healthy.

I've oftened wondered why CM makes no mention of any of the conspiracy stuff out there.  Since its so contrarian to what people grow up believing, its not hard to see why its so often dismissed.  Then again, it does a better job of explaining why things are happening the way they are than anything the mainstream media is telling you. Why is always the most important question.

Thanks V - good points. I believe the CM site is changing in scope as it should be. Well done Moderators!

Jag, Alex Jones was the money behind the production, he makes a public appeal for support for 2 minutes, but otherwise is not in the vid. It is Jason Bermas, creator of Loose Change docuemtary, and worth a watch IMHO.

Re: Just released documentary, 'Invisible Empire'

John,

Thanks for putting that up.  I had to laugh that at 1:50:28, I met every single criteria except the bumper stickers (I like my cars clean).  I told my wife that I guess when the NWO comes fully into place, I'll be among the first to be on the hit parade.  I've read or heard virtually all these things and more from other sources but seeing them all put together is almost overwhelming.  This is not to make fun of this video (which I think should be taken seriously) but about the only major conspiracy theory topic not touched upon was UFOs and space aliens.;-)

Jeff,

You should watch.

Re: Just released documentary, 'Invisible Empire'

I'm just an old hippy whose lived a life outside of the matrix since 1965. I do not like being manipulated by anyone. Not even environmental enthusiasts.  one of which I am. This production is a thinly disguised, at least as much as I could stand to watch, attempt at manipulation. Those three words can mean so many things, and does, to the different people who use them. This is a semantic shell game. The `oh my god something bad is comming music' comprised of every dissonant minor chord known to man and the silly thumps when the screen changes are all worn out cliches. Unless something very different happens to negate the first 10 or 15 minutes of doom, the only people who will benefit from the production of this movie will be arms dealers and hate groups. Its just plain old fear and loathing for fun and profit. In my experience, the people who believe this stuff tend to be rednecks trying to justify their gun cabinets and munitions stash.

Had a very short conversation with two of them at a machine shop a week ago, they said" ya know.....obama ain't even a citizen of this country." These were two grownups out of their twenties. I asked them how they knew this and they said "because he froze all his personal records!" One of them was wearing a ball cap with a star over an AK 47. Just beneath that it said COME AND TAKE IT.

These poor dipshits are the product of wrong wing hate radio. They probably have pictures of Palin in their wallets. The kind of weak, out of context, innuendo I saw so far in this way too long, video file is beneath the quality of information in CC and is a lot like parking a double wide, with dead water heaters four dogs and an ATV in the yard, in a nice neighborhood. Those two dorks at the machine shop would watch this whole file and nod their heads and mutter while they guzzle coors light.

Re: Just released documentary, 'Invisible Empire'

OK I watched it.  I will give any one a fair view.  While there is interesting and pertinent material in here,  the premise contradicts itself.  In several arenas it makes fun of and directly contradicts many points of the crash course.  I personally have no objection to people contradicting the crash course,  but this does seem an odd place to put it.   It is in debate we can often find better solutions than we can when we are all in agreement.

But one thing keeps coming back to me - and this is the argument about "collectivism".  The film decries the new world order as promoting collectivism,  but then complains about how they are a self centered elite bent on controlling all of the money.  While this can occur - see the socialism for the rich and capitalism for the rest of us construct - it is hard to pull off.  The best elite group ever will still have the problems of individual conflicts of interest.  They may have too much control,  but if they were going to be truly successful they would have pulled it off long ago and certainly should have done more to rid themselves of this pesky freedom of speech thing that allows films like this to be made.

But, like Glenn Beck, it exhorts us to action against a shadowy undefined threat and gives no plan of what constructive action that could possibly be.....

Re: Just released documentary, 'Invisible Empire'

I enjoyed the film and think Jason Bermas does a great job exposing so many false flag operations, psy-ops, corruption and the organized NWO conspiracy to take over the western world.  I think that Bermas has much independence from Alex Jones in his productions.  And he established his own credentials with Loose Change, a film that destroys the government's official account about 9/11 and establishes many important facts.  Jason did a lot of the research for both films.

Invisible Empire doesn't really expose anything new but it does seem to be gaining more mainstream interest.  Just a couple of years ago these topics would have been dismissed as conspiracy theories but now they are beginning to take root as conspiracy facts.

I'm glad that Bermas took the gloves off in explaining that the NWO cabal are a bunch of criminal SOBs.  This is a good hand-out film for friends and relatives to better understand what we are up against.
