Re: Jim Rogers Analyzing the Financial Armageddon

Yeah I think this series is one of his best.  It's amazing that the masses don't get this perspective, which is an interesting study in how the mass media works in its alliance with government.  They create the illusion of real debate on the issues as they host the fight between left and right.  But that just 1) allows the media to prop up "left" and "right" as the only 2 approved viewpoints and their leaders as the only approved leaders and, 2) continues the charade of allowing them to define what issues are discussed.  Note that our debt-based monetary system created by the Fed will never be one of those issues allowed to be discussed on mass media.

From the looks of his place, I'd like to apply to be his grounds-keeper.  Cool

Meant to put this on the Daily Digest!

Here's a link to an article by Tom Freedman in the NY times that Chris recommended today at his seminar in Montague:

Quote:

We have created a system for
growth that depended on our building more and more stores to sell more
and more stuff made in more and more factories in China, powered by
more and more coal that would cause more and more climate change but
earn China more and more dollars to buy more and more U.S. T-bills so
America would have more and more money to build more and more stores
and sell more and more stuff that would employ more and more Chinese ...

We can’t do this anymore.
