This type of sucking up plus the types of answers the banker SOBs give has all been seen before...

watch Godfather II again...the scene with Michael Corleone in front of the Senate and Senator Geary giving his obligatory effusive praise.

You got that right . . . Could that be why our congress is populated with perverts, tax evaders, and thieves?  . . . because they can be controlled with blackmail?

rowmat, this is truly vomitrotious!!!Yell

I just sent the link over to Peter Schiff. I think that clip is a full load of ammo for him if he gets the chance to go head to head with Dodd. Nothing wrong with reminding people who Chris Dodd really is.

Of course we aren't exempt here in Australia

The last 30 seconds of the clip is an Australian politician, Joe Hockey, licking the boots of Glenn Stevens, the Chairman of our central bank, the Reserve Bank of Australia.

The Reserve Bank of Australia is not completely unlike the 'Fed' to the extent that when describing who controls the RBA one is faced with an appearance of doublespeak.

The RBA' website states.... "The Bank is wholly owned by the Australian Government, but is not a government department."

Maybe this makes it  a little clearer...

“The Australian government does not control the Reserve Bank. We have no control over what they do.” - Wayne Swan, Treasurer (2008)

Formerly know as the 'Commonwealth Bank of Australia' its history is, of course, English.

Wasn't one of the reasons for the American Revolution concerned with something to do with the English Bankers... ???? Wink

Indeed it was. Yet somehow the banksters convinced us to stick our head back in the noose again back in 1913.
