Financial Sense Year-end Podcasts worth a listen!

I'm a fan of the Financial Sense Newshour in general, but I thought their year-end program was particularly impressive. They chose a bunch of excellent interviews from the last 5 years that were particularly relevant to the current financial crisis - G. Edward Griffin, Doug Noland, Robert Prechter and several others.

FSN usually produces 3 hrs per week of podcasts, but the year-end show was 6 hrs this past weekend and I assume 6 more hours are coming this weekend. In my opinion, this is top notch stuff and worth a listen.

When I listed to those past interviews I often thought I was listening to someone speaking today.  The information was there on what risks to anticipate; these folks seemed to recognize the problems long before the symptoms appeared this year.  The challenge now is how can we sort out and interpret present information to to plan for the risks of tomorrow.

woodman,

If I understood correctly, last week's show was designed to focus on predictions of the current crisis, but next week's show is supposed to focus on the next crisis, what to expect, etc. So this coming weekend's program should be directly aligned with your comments...

Another "entertaining" commentary (not Podcast) on what's coming (2009) and where we've come from:

"This market is not a falling knife - it is a falling chainsaw."

And the there is James Kunstler on 2009:
