The Prosecution of an American President

Vincent Bugliosi, one of the most respected prosecutors and writers of our time, published The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder in 2008.  http://www.amazon.com/The-Prosecution-George-Bush-Murder/dp/B001IWO88O

Quote:

In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses—a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.

As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.

In October 2014 the DVD The Prosecution of an American President was released.  It is based on the above book.  http://www.amazon.com/Prosecution-American-President-Vincent-Bugliosi/dp/B00LNID1NQ

In the video Bugliosi presents the legal framework for prosecuting Bush for murder at his alma mater, UCLA Law School.  He lays out the elements for murder and makes the case that the killing of 4,000 American soldiers by taking the nation to war against Iraq under false pretenses fulfills all of those elements.  He makes a convincing case.  It's difficult to maintain the pretense that we are still a nation of laws when perhaps the greatest crime committed by an American in this still young century goes unprosecuted.  This isn't a political or Constitutional issue, it is pure criminal.

The video is compelling.
