I don't know how to respond to this article. It's so ludicrous, it must be a joke. Is it April Fool's Day somewhere?

Some statements to get you started:

"Within two decades, we will have almost unlimited energy, food, and clean water;..."

"And with the prices of necessities and of what we today consider luxury goods dropping exponentially..."

The year twoooooothousand.

This sounds like the overly optimistic peddlings of World Fair tech vendors from the turn of last century.

I throw this out for laughs, but it's keeping with the tradition that Kurzweil and Summers and their mind-numbingly optimistic forecasts on the fantastic way we will live in just a few short years.
