Hi Inverstorzzo,

there has been some quite spontaneous conversation on the subject of these two films on another thread earlier in January you may have missed. I’ll give you a link to that here :-

https://www.peakprosperity.com/forum/teh-zeitgeist-movement/11668

…quite a good cross section of opinions too!

I very much enjoyed both films in there entirety other than the mistakes that were made along the lines of religion that are also discussed on this link. For myself, I hope that Jack Fresco’s ideals are remembered and become the model of the future.

I’ve already linked to another article on the thread above so, have a look out for Vanityfox451 at post #12 for another view on creating an independent currency also.

Take Care,

Paul

Love the ZeitGeist movies.  I would say all the information about the money system comes from a book I am currently reading "Web of Debt".  I’ve probably talked about this book many times on this site, but it truly is a must read.

ZeitGeist III is coming out 2010 around october.  I believe it has to do with Human nature along with other realizations that the majority of people are blind to.

I’m starting on two books; one, called "The Origin of Financial Crises" by Cooper and the other; "Manias, Panics, and Crashes by Kindleberger.  Any thoughts on either one of these books would be helpful…

I have herd of it but have not read it yet.  But Going from the title and a review I read, it probably has to deal with Central Planning, by the banks and how these so called NATURAL business cycles occur.

We recently posted an in-depth article on the philosophical underpinnings of the movie Zeitgeist: Moving Forward.  If you are interested, you may read it here:  http://tradewithdave.com/?p=5282
