When you have been getting something for nothing for soooo long it is hard to deal with reality. Hey, it is our elected officials that thought the bailout of AIG was a good idea.  Once again the government f’s up whatever they touch.

Yes, and I’m surprised the Dow didn’t rise again on all this good news.

Kudos and Condolences to Castle, who said "Are you freakin kidding me??? "

They’re relentless–insatiable–aren’t they?

AIG, aka, Arrogance, Insanity, and Greed (courtesty of Karl Denninger, Feb. 2008: http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/110-Arrogance,-Insanity-and-Greed.html)

How should such a self-serving, lack of (humane and sensible) perspective be dealt with? https://www.peakprosperity.com/comment/7412#comment-7412

P.S. Pass the AIG acronym explanation on to 2 friends and ask them to do the same; i.e., provide Karl’s link–as well as any article about AIG within the last few months–Any Article! Insanity speaks for itself!
