    Value of Gold

I expect the value of gold to remain fairly constant over the next few months and years. I also expect it will cost much more to buy it with any of the world’s paper currencies.

YES! GOLD WILL RISE…BERNANKE SAYS SO even if he has to devalue

Bernanke gave this speech in 2002…He will fight DEFLATION AT ALL COST…INCLUDING A DEVALUATION IN CURRENCY!

http://www.federalreserve.gov/boarddocs/speeches/2002/20021121/default.htm#f19

If you scroll down to a little more than half of this speech you will see Benny agrees with Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1933-34 policy to DEVALUE currency by 40% to fight deflation.

"The devaluation and the rapid increase in money supply it permitted ended the U.S. deflation remarkably quickly"

draw your own conclusion, is see a parallel between today’s policies and then.

    By May 1, 1933  private

By May 1, 1933  private  American gold holdings  was surrendered   (by force)    to the Federal Reserve and exchanged at the rate of $20.67 per ounce.     What is the price of gold now?    Now that is some trade!
