This might relevant to the heightened tension:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/28/japanese-oil-tanker-explosion-oman

Japanese oil tanker damaged in Gulf explosion

Owners believe incident in waters off Oman could have been terrorist attack. A Japanese oil tanker loaded with crude has been damaged in an explosion in the Gulf, and the owners of the vessel blamed a possible terrorist attack for the blast.

This happened in the straight of Hormuz. Iran has warned that they will stop all oil transports through the straight if attacked.

Could it be a warning shot from Iran? Or a false flag to achieve casus belli? And if so, by who — US, or someone like Israel attempting to drag US into another bombing campaign?

War Warning from Madison, 4th US President

“Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other.  War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.

In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people.

The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manners and of morals engendered by both.  No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”

…which is one reason for concocting the eternal phony war on terror…the real war is being waged against our freedoms.

OMG

Great find Larry.

Look. its only a matter of time before some synthetic substitute is found for uranium. The anyone you wants to build a nuclear weapon will. What are we going to do then? Well…not a damn thing.

If Iran wants to build a nuclear weapon then let them. Do you think any of Iran’s neighbors want them to have the bomb? Of course not but they are more than happy to have the US fight their battles for them.

Wouldn’t it be cheaper and more politically viable to simple monitor Iran from a distance?

Great find Larry.

I particularly like his reference to the ” US Imperial Senate” Which spells US IS. It sounds like a new form of ebonics lol

I have noticed the rhetoric against Iran has been picking up steam. I think perhaps by Nov. we will have a new and bigger opportunity to increase the profits of Raytheon, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Boeing etc. THe economy sure could use that shot in the arm
