I attended a lecture from Alibek in 2003.  The Soviets were really not that good in the waning days of their empire. At least that was the conclusion of most of our audience.

 

What was interesting though that he mentioned cytokines as a field of his research. That made a lot more sense than his stories about ebola-HIV-smallpox chimera’s (the Soviets had no DNA amplification techniques worth mentioning).

Hmm, it seems as though this sort of thing has happened before in history.  And the ending wasn’t so great for the recipient.

Did anyone already figure out which plant species?

 

If you don’t like that China buys up companies, why sell them???
