    Troops in Libya?

There are rumors circulating in fringe media channels that we sent 12,000 troops to Brega, Libya.  Is this misinformation?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Where did that rifle come from

If you look at the first pic in the article you will see a brand new FAL on the right side. I have seen many pics with the rebels carring brand new FAL’s. I don’t know what the overseas price is but here in the US a new FAL goes for about $1500, not to mention the rounds cost abot $.80 cents each. If these people are so poor how do they afford these rifles?

You and I are paying for that shit, while an executive at an arms company buys a villa in the Mediterranean.

We should have no troops in Libya.  If we do someone is making a big msitake unless they are there to protect American citizens and help them leave the country.

    Misinformation?

I absolutely agree that we should not be in Libya.  I also don’t think that we should have 20,000 contractors and private army in Iraq.  However, I have not seen any reports to confirm Cynthia McKinney’s story.  I think it would be really hard to keep 12,000 military people in Libya hidden from the US.  We’ll keep searching for confirmation of her story.
