Re: Trick Question For Obama’s Economic Team

Krogoth

Well considering hewittr does nothing but go from topic to topic with
outlandish if not impossible solutions, based on little or no data, I
would consider and expect more solid contributions from him. Since I am
from the South, we used to call people like him a pot stirrer. Just
arguing for the sake of argument, and not really adding anything to the
conversation. So now I will try to ignore him because he really is not
adding anything positive or provable, just a lot of wind.

First of all Krogoth, I’m 66, probably older than you, and I suspect better educated. When I was young, I thought I could solve the problems of the world. As I got older, I began to realize my limitations. There is no god; there is no controlling authority that can make this all go away. There are six billion people on this planet trying to make the best out of their lives. There is no solution that can be implemented by government authority; there are only more problems if one takes that route. So you and your kind can pretend you have solutions for the world. And I’ll continue to see people with your mindset as the problems for the world.

At least my generation is primarily interested in education still, and
still questioned authority all the way up to the government level. My
generation is the antiestablihmnent generation. The generation behind
me, or my generations support system, is 10 times worse.

I wouldn’t believe it by the way you rant.

    Hewittr- Please keep us informed

Oh, so you are kinds like a human walking Petri dish. An experiment of the first boomers going into retirement. Please keep us up to date on your progress, the day to day challenges etc.

As for age, I am 42, so yes I am much younger than you. I usually have respect for my elders, but in your case I will make an exception.

Re: A bench warmer signs up

krogoth,

I have to say that I am disappointed by the acidity of your above comment.  The sarcasm is far more than called for, in my opinion.  If it were directed at me, I might decide that bench warming was a better place to be, or even leave the site.

As for your comment that triggered the "bench warmer" to register,  yes, oppinions are like assholes, we do all have them.  Just as important, we all have the right to express them.

I do find some of hwitter’s comments tiring, but then, some of your tone can be tireing as well, at times, particularly in your response to him.

All the best,

Reuben Bailey

For the record, I still work  and I have no intention of retiring; my job is mine for as long as I want it. I own no real estate, not stocks, no bonds, no 401Ks. All my savings are in gold and silver.

Genesis tells us God created order out of chaos, and yet chaos still reigns despite every attempt to instill order. I accept your youth, your ignorance and your conceit as a given. I will be content to watch you spin your wheels, and maybe once in a while poke fun at you when the temptation becomes too irresistible. The one about boycotting oil was a beut.

    Better up the Geritol

Better up the Geritol, change the Depends or look into getting checked for Alzheimer’s old man, because you are seriously losing it. I have never posted once on this site about boycotting oil.

Not exactly boycott, but close. You said:

PROOF that we all hold the power in our decisions, purchases and daily
lives. Conserve and watch how and what you spend your money on, and
watch the world change. Less driving, fear of development of new energy
supplies, and OPEC where it belongs, on it’s knees.

That’s a hoot.

My health is perfect. I’ve been exercising all my life – weights and running. I’ve been taking food supplements from the time you were born. I can write at length about nutrition, but that is another topic.

Continue to amuse me little boy.

    Wrong once again

So don’t put words like BOYCOTT into statements I have made. You have a bad habit of doing that a lot here. BTW, this is the last I will be respoding to you. You are definitely not worth my time.

Adios

Actually I respond to being attacked first. As for expressing, did you mean assholes or opinions?

When I used "boycott," I wasn’t trying to be exact. It wasn’t worth a lengthy explanation.

Oh horrors! Krogoth is going to boycott me. Go ahead. Go play with the other children who think you know what you are talking about.
