    The unvaccinated question

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/unvaccinated-question

“So, the New Normals are discussing the Unvaccinated Question. What is to be done with us? No, not those who haven’t been “vaccinated” yet. Us. The “Covidiots.” The “Covid deniers.” The “science deniers.” The “reality deniers.” Those who refuse to get “vaccinated,” ever.

There is no place for us in New Normal society. The New Normals know this and so do we. To them, we are a suspicious, alien tribe of people. We do not share their ideological beliefs. We do not perform their loyalty rituals, or we do so only grudgingly, because they force us to do so. We traffic in arcane “conspiracy theories,” like “pre-March-2020 science,” “natural herd immunity,” “population-adjusted death rates,” “Sweden,” “Florida,” and other heresies.

They do not trust us. We are strangers among them. They suspect we feel superior to them. They believe we are conspiring against them, that we want to deceive them, confuse them, cheat them, pervert their culture, abuse their children, contaminate their precious bodily fluids, and perpetrate God knows what other horrors.

So they are discussing the need to segregate us, how to segregate us, when to segregate us, in order to protect society from us. In their eyes, we are no more than criminals, or, worse, a plague, an infestation. In the words of someone (I can’t quite recall who), “getting rid of the Unvaccinated is not a question of ideology. It is a question of cleanliness,” or something like that. (I’ll have to hunt down and fact-check that quote. I might have taken it out of context.)

In Israel, Estonia, Denmark, Germany, the USA, and other New Normal countries, they have already begun the segregation process. In the UK, it’s just a matter of time. The WEF, WHO, EU, and other transnational entities are helping to streamline the new segregation system, which, according to the WEF, “will need to be harmonized by a normative body, such as the WHO, to ensure that is ethical.”

Here in Germany, the government is considering banning us from working outside our homes. We are already banned from flying on commercial airlines. (We can still use the trains, if we dress up like New Normals.) In the village of Potsdam, just down the road from Wannsee (which name you might recall from your 20th-Century history lessons), we are banned from entering shops and restaurants. (I’m not sure whether we can still use the sidewalks, or whether we have to walk in the gutters.) In Saxony, we are forbidden from attending schools. At the Berliner Ensemble (the theater founded by Bertolt Brecht and Helene Weigel, lifelong opponents of totalitarianism and fascism), we are banned from attending New Normal performances.

In the USA, we are being banned by universities. Our children are being banned from public schools. In New York, the new “Excelsior Pass” will allow New Normals to attend cultural and sports events (and patronize bars and restaurants, eventually) secure in the knowledge that the Unvaccinated have been prevented from entering or segregated in an “Unvaccinated Only” section. The pass system, designed by IBM, which, if history is any guide, is pretty good at designing such systems (OK, technically, it was Deutsche Hollerith Maschinen Gesellschaft, IBM’s Nazi-Germany subsidiary), was launched this past weekend to considerable fanfare.

OK, I know what the New Normals are thinking. They’re thinking I’m “misleading” people again. That I’m exaggerating. That this isn’t really segregation, and certainly nothing like “medical apartheid.”

After all (as the New Normals will sternly remind me), no one is forcing us to get “vaccinated.” If we choose not to, or can’t for medical reasons, all we have to do is submit to a “test” — you know, the one where they ram that 9-inch swab up into your sinus cavities — within 24 hours before we want to go out to dinner, or attend the theater or a sports event, or visit a museum, or attend a university, or take our children to school or a playground, and our test results will serve as our “vaccine passports!” We just present them to the appropriate Covid Compliance Officer, and (assuming the results are negative, of course) we will be allowed to take part in New Normal society just as if we’d been “vaccinated.”

Either way, “vaccine” or “test,” the New Normal officials will be satisfied, because the tests and passes are really just stage props. The point is the display of mindless obedience. Even if you take the New Normals at their word, if you are under 65 and in relatively good health, getting “vaccinated” is more or less pointless, except as a public display of compliance and belief in the official Covid-19 narrative (the foundation stone of the New Normal ideology). Even the high priests of their “Science” confess that it doesn’t prevent you spreading the “plague.” And the PCR tests are virtually meaningless, as even the WHO finally admitted. (You can positive-PCR-test a pawpaw fruit … but you might want to be careful who you tell if you do that.)

In contrast to the “vaccine” and the “test” themselves, the forced choice between them is not at all meaningless. It is no accident that both alternatives involve the violation of our bodies, literally the penetration of our bodies. It doesn’t really matter what is in the “vaccines” or what “results” the “tests” produce. The ritual is a demonstration of power, the power of the New Normals (i.e., global capitalism’s new face) to control our bodies, to dominate them, to violate them, psychologically and physically.

Now, don’t get all excited, my “conspiracy theorist” friends. I haven’t gone full QAnon just yet. Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab are not sitting around together, sipping adrenochrome on George Soros’ yacht, dreaming up ways to rape people’s noses. This stuff is built into the structure of the system. It is a standard feature of totalitarian societies, cults, churches, self-help groups, and … well, human society, generally.

Being forced to repeat a physical action which only makes sense within a specific ideology reifies that ideology within us. There is nothing inherently diabolical about this. It is a basic socialization technology. It is how we socialize our children. It is why we conduct weddings, baptisms, and bar mitzvahs. It is how we turn young men and women into soldiers. It is how actors learn their blocking and their lines. It is why the Nazis held all those rallies. It is why our “democracies” hold elections. It is also basic ceremonial magic … but that’s a topic for a different column.

The issue, at the moment, is the Unvaccinated Question, and the public rituals that are being performed to make the New Normal ideology “reality,” and what to do about those of us who refuse to participate in those rituals, who refuse to forswear “old normal” reality and convert to New Normalism so that we can function in society without being segregated, criminalized, or “diagnosed” as “sociopathic” or otherwise psychiatrically disordered.

For us “conspiracy-theorizing reality deniers,” there is no getting around this dilemma. This isn’t Europe in the 1930s. There isn’t anywhere to emigrate to … OK, there is, temporarily, in some of the US states that have been staging rebellions, and other such “old normal” oases, but how long do you think that will last? They’re already rolling out the “mutant variants,” and God only knows what will happen when the long-term effects of the “vaccines” kick in.

No, for most of us denizens of the global capitalist empire, it looks like the New Normal is here to stay. So, unless we are prepared to become New Normals, we are going to have to stand and fight. It is going to get rather ugly, and personal, but there isn’t any way to avoid that. Given that many New Normals are our friends and colleagues, or even members of our families, it is tempting to believe that they will “come to their senses,” that “this is all just a hysterical overreaction,” and that “everything will go back to normal soon.”

This would be a monumental error on our parts … very possibly a fatal error.

Totalitarian movements, when they reach this stage, do not simply stop on their own. They continue to advance toward their full expressions, ultimately transforming entire societies into monstrous mirror-images of themselves, unless they are opposed by serious resistance. There is a window at the beginning when such resistance has a chance. That window is still open, but it is closing, fast. I can’t tell you how best to resist, but I can tell you it starts with seeing things clearly, and calling things, and people, exactly what they are.

Let’s not make the same mistake that other minorities have made throughout history when confronted with a new totalitarian ideology. See the New Normals for what they are, maybe not deep down in their hearts, but what they have collectively become a part of, because it is the movement that is in control now, not the rational individuals they used to be. Above all, recognize where this is headed, where totalitarian movements are always headed. (See. e.g., Milton Mayer’s They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933-45.)

No, the Unvaccinated are not the Jews and the New Normals are not flying big Swastika flags, but totalitarianism is totalitarianism, regardless of which Goebbelsian Big Lies, and ideology, and official enemies it is selling. The historical context and costumes change, but its ruthless trajectory remains the same.

Today, the New Normals are presenting us with a “choice,” (a) conform to their New Normal ideology or (b) social segregation. What do you imagine they have planned for us tomorrow?”

    So what’s your suggestion?

So what positive concrete suggestions for a response do you have? Or are you just fearmongering for the sake of fearmongering?

    The unvaccinated question

Im not fearmongering Im sharing an article from ZH that I thought was relevant to the discussions and concerns people are having.

You dont want to stick your head in the sand and pretend everything is going to be exactly the same, article discusses some of the plans about to be implemented and the possible intent behind them.

I dont appreciate being accused of fearmongering btw.

    The unvaccinated question

You haven’t posted any fearmongering comments of your own, but you are most definitely spreading a fearmongering message.

One of ZH’s specialties is deliberate fearmongering (for whatever reason known only to themselves.) I say that based on about 10 years of reading the site. This article you cited is a prime example. It uses really negative, highly charged, emotion-whipping-up statements and images and assertions with zero attribution like:

“They do not trust us. We are strangers among them. They suspect we feel superior to them. They believe we are conspiring against them, that we want to deceive them, confuse them, cheat them, pervert their culture, abuse their children, contaminate their precious bodily fluids, and perpetrate God knows what other horrors.”

Abuse their children and contaminate their bodily fluids — really?? This is not the Third Reich.

For example, I went to the original ZH article, clicked on the source link given for the statement “Here in Germany, the government is considering banning us from working outside our homes.” , translated it into English (at deepl.com which is far better than Google Translate), and it says only that the Mayor of Berlin (not “the government” and not “here in Germany”) wants to discuss the issue of  workers getting compulsorily vax’d. So that statement was absolutely exaggerated for effect.

The article doesn’t calmly suggest what people who are vaccine hesitant or resistant can do. All it suggests is: “we are going to have to stand and fight. It is going to get rather ugly, and personal, but there isn’t any way to avoid that. ” That’s just whipping up more emotion and trouble. Really? Inciting violence? That raises a really red flag to me. Here are some other calm, reasonable, civilized possible responses:

1. sew a yellow star on your (compulsory) mask. That’ll raise eyebrows and make a few people think.

2. write into your local paper – hold townhall meetings — band together — where people know you and are therefore less able to dismiss you as a nut case.

3. emigrate to a country where expats are high status (therefore less likely to be challenged) and the government structure is inefficient.

These are just a few ideas off the top of my head but it opens up for constructive discussion. I’m not sticking my head in the sand but I do know from decades of personal experience that fear paralyzes and that is not helpful at all in the current situation.

What possible responses to mandatory vaccination can you suggest?

Ah…the Mayor IS the executive head of the local government. And if he wants to discuss mandatory vaccination…then YES, the government is considering mandatory vaccination. There is absolutely NOTHING in that statement that is exaggerated or false.

Thats the thing Canuck…this stuff is getting so crazy that its hard to hear, it SOUNDS too crazy to be true but when you look into it and hear what the other side is saying…it is absolutely happening now. Its not speculation, hysteria, or exaggeration. I wish it were.

I know it bothers some people to hear it, its easier to pretend that everything is going to go back to the way things were.

And, of course, the subject has to be presented before solutions can be offered. You offered some, they were good. If I hadnt have posted the topic we wouldnt be having this conversation.

What solutions would I offer…Im glad you asked;

I see this as an extension of the banning, censoring, and deplatforming going on in social media. This is the “LIVE” version of the same tactic. So we already have the playbook in front of us. They are going to “deplatform” [ attack your career position], “demonetize” [ attack your business ], “ban” [ prevent you from participation in social events ], and “censor” [ cut you off from services ]. The position ‘the powers that be’ took online was that THEY controlled the online social activity, and if you want to participate you do what we say, say what we say, and think what we say or you’ll be cast out.

The mistake I saw people make online was waiting, even when the writing was on the wall before creating a presence on alternate platforms. What came out of the censorship culture was the alternative platform culture…but it came out too slow. People like Chris waited until they were kicked off of youtube before even considering alternatives. This was a mistake that we should all learn from.

They are doing the same thing now. The position the powers that be are taking is; we hold the keys to society and if you want to participate you do what we say, think what we say, and say what we say. Now the solution I would like to see is to have us “nonvaxxers” move NOW to start developing an alternative real life CULTURE.

Think about the things they are attempting to prevent you from [ the article does a good job of listing them ] and consider how we might replace those venues with our OWN. Just like bitchute is an alternative to youtube…backyard BBQ’s with a close knit group of unvaxxed might be a great alternative to restaurants that wont serve “the unvaxxed”.

Consider replacing your corporate drone job with an independent business, etc

IMO petitioning the people in charge to let us back into their controlled society isnt going to work. We saw that with the youtube/facebook/twitter model. We need to create our OWN life if they wont let us in theirs. After-all, who wants to live in their world anyway? Ours can be 1000x better…and THAT will be the best response we can make.

But, unless we are willing to acknowledge and be honest about what they want and where this is going, we’re going to make the same mistakes we made with social media, we’re going to be stuck reacting instead of acting.

I’m not sticking my head in the sand but I do know from decades of personal experience that fear paralyzes and that is not helpful at all in the current situation.

Canuck, allow me to offer a slight but important edit to your statement above:

… I do know from decades of personal experience that FEAR PARALYZES ME…

It has been said that people react in three ways to danger, threat and fear: FREEZE, FLEE, FIGHT. I’m taking you at your self-reflective statement that you tend to FREEZE when confronted by a threat or danger that arouses fear in you. And I observe that the first two of your suggested responses could be described as non-violent resistance or fighting. Your third suggestion is clearly flight.

So it seems to me the crux of the matter comes down to how bad we expect the compulsory vaccination movement to get. One possibility is it burns itself out and the whole compulsory part evaporates away. That would be nice. A second possibility is that it gets no worse than strong social and peer pressure to get vaccinated and relatively minor inconveniences for those who don’t. But the worst case scenario might be that the full weight and power of government, corporations and society fall on the minority who refuse to be vaccinated. Let’s call that something like a dystopian Fourth Reich, but global instead of merely German. Can you agree that the compulsory vaccination movement will probably play out in something like one of those scenarios? If so, how would you say we should prepare today when the outcome is unknown and can possibly still be changed?

Would you rule out people here considering and discussing the worst case scenario? Or would you say considering the worst case scenario causes you to become paralyzed, so you don’t want to do it? And because you don’t want to consider the worst case scenario, would you want to stop others from considering it here at PeakProsperity?

I’d say there are some people who respond to threat, danger and fear with highly motivated preparations to face the threat and overcome it. Those kinds of people are helped to prepare by learning about threats in advance of facing them and how to deal with them if they materialize. These kinds of people experience the opposite of paralysis, they get focused and busy. And except for certain species like porcupines, chameleons and o’possums, FREEZE is rarely a successful response in nature to a mortal threat. Likewise, I’d say FREEZING is rarely a successful survival strategy for people when faced with a real mortal threat. If this kind of subject matter triggers your maladaptive FREEZE response, I would suggest you avoid it and let those who get motivated to prepare by threats room to run here.

Watch these two bears deal with the mortal threat each represents to the other. It may be that this is where we are today with regard to the compulsory vaccination movement. It may be that if we vigorously resist and make the biggest “threat display”we can, we can alter the course we’re on and avoid the worst case scenario. It may also be that if we don’t do that we will definitely inherit the worst case scenario.

    The ‘Freeze’

Horses freeze when they hear a big cat.  They turn toward the cat and try hard to  be still and hear where the cat is moving.  Also if they don’t move its like they are part of the forest tapestry.

Is the freeze natural to us going back millenniums?

    The unvaccinated question

Well not being male I don’t feel the urge to fight like your bears. So I do not find the video to be relevant. But then I come from a non-gun culture.

Saying that a freeze response is maladaptive is a judgement call on your part, based on your personal beliefs. I believe, based on my personal beliefs, that physically fighting is maladaptive. I also believe that posting a highly emotive article that calls on people to “fight”, or to subsequently in a comment recommend making a “threat display” is highly dangerous and irresponsible. Look at what happened when Trump called on his supporters to go to the Capitol building and fight. People take the word literally. It’s the best possible way to get oneself and this site put on a terrorist watch list, and also to discredit people who are vaccine hesitant or resistant as terrorists. Such an easy ‘own goal’ to make. That’s why I also don’t like talking about ‘the other side’. That just polarizes the situation and makes dialogue impossible.

I am certainly not shutting down debate on this issue. I have already suggested several concrete ways of responding to heavy governmental pressure to be vaccinated. And Brushhog has responded to my discussion overture with other suggestions.

I certainly do not just freeze when faced with fearful situations. Walking around with a yellow star prominently displayed on one’s body when one does not have to is an act of tremendous personal courage — ask the King of Denmark, who did it during World War II. And relocating to another country is not flight. It’s a very sensible life choice I was planning on anyway — who wants another Canadian winter.

    The unvaccinated question

Living in NY state the excelsior pass is our reality now. Vaccinated or not I will doubt I will be using the app as I am opposed to it. I believe if enough people vote with their feet (where they reasonably can) and avoid places that demand the app it could have a significant economic impact and perhaps discourage mandatory use. Now that our governor has lost emergency powers there is some dilution of authority and hopefully it will allow for a real discussion of the utility of the “app”.  If not I will find other things to do with my time and can give up going to venues, may telecommute and generally stay with the deplorables on this one.

“Tune in, turn on, drop out.” –Timothy Leary, 1966

This not the first time the Normies tried to run things and ended up disgusting everyone. Last time, the truly disgusted, in my generation, could go to Canada. Not an option, now.

I do like the ideas of backyard BBQs, church of the unvaxxed and church socials, food coops where locals bring their garden crops and trade among themselves, private gyms and camps.

We have been here, before.

Edit: We need an Unvaxx  ID card, could record the times you said, “No, thank you.”
