The Four E's including E.T.
Not sure what is happening here, but am going to just slip this post in to see if it corrects the problem with clicking on the link.
I didnt mention Clif because I thought he was “all over the truth” :> He’s a bit too much of an expert at all things for my taste, but still fun to listen to. But I do think we have nowhere to start besides sci-fi concepts on this issue.
Another Clif like character is Catherine Austin Fitts. She has talked about “Mr Global” realizing that having only one planet for humans represents a huge risk so “Mr Global” is about to start a space based economy the likes of which we’ve never seen in order to try to get us off this berg.
It sounds ridiculous to me, but Im at an age now where I accept it on some level when I see that “This is how things are going”.
We must accept that any alien civilization which is capable of voyaging to Earth must be technologically advanced beyond our wildest imaginings.
Sentient life on Earth has existed for a mere blink of an eye in terms of the age of the universe. The development of our science and technology has occurred mostly within the last 150 years.
If sentient life originated on another planet even one thousand years before it occurred on Earth (an infinitesimal fraction of the life of the universe) then it is logical to assume that the technology of that planet will be so advanced that our technology will appear to them as the equivalent of stone axes.
For us to imagine we can interact with them as equals is extreme hubris. More likely they will brush us aside like ants at a picnic.
For a long time there have been reports of:
Crop circles, implanted objects, animal mutilations, abduction, missing time, alien human hybridization, levitation and passing through solid objects like walls, fallen angels, native american legends of ant people, and so on. Besides garden variety UFOs.
Do we need the govt. or TV news to tell us what we already know, these beings have been interacting with and manipulating life on earth, more or less, for a long time.
In 2010, I had a CE-1 and it sent me down a path of discovery.
It is true, that people who experience a close encounter have major belief system upheavals. I have done extensive research on this topic and the conclusions are scarce and confounding….I would say alien. The roads, curiously, all lead toward the occult.
I can could go on at length, making many citations (if folks are seriously interested), but I don’t want to be overbearing. Suffice it to say, these entities are tricksters in the classical sense. Jacques Vallee points out many times in his books that these entities are deceptive, tailoring themselves to a culture’s ability to understand. I believe he used the words “subliminal seduction” in one of his books. Doesn’t sound like a relationship built on trust, does it? It does remind me of a shapeshifting liar who made false promises, or so the story goes.
The Air Force put together a UFO bibliography back in the 1970s. I have it on my shelf and it’s a book with a listing of books, lol. The author, Lynn Catoe, writes a foreword basically saying, look most of the UFO literature has to deal with poltergeist, possessions, automatic writing, channeling, etc., so just be ready for that. The Air Force is well aware of the “alien” nature of these things.
It’s interesting that you brought up the demonological conclusion. I read a book last year called Final Events. Pretty much laid out the scenario you wrote. Bascially:
-U.S. government agencies studied UFO/abductions/mutilations since 50s
– Rogue faction within U.S. agencies conclude demonic implications
– Conspire to set up theocratic totalitarian state to combat the demons
It’s interesting to note that while reading this book, it felt like a greatest hits of the most controversial aspects of the UFO/abduction phenomenon. Did you know that calling out the name of Jesus Christ will stop a CE-4 immediately? Not surprised. Most mainstream UFO researchers covered it up for fear of ostracism.
I like Charles Forte’s idea of the planet being owned. Zoo Hypothesis, but more like Beast of Burden Hypothesis. Or maybe our souls are some kind of sustenance and this is a plantation? Bob Lazar (Area 51 informant) had spoken of how the beings referred to humans as “containers”.
Stay away from Steven Greer, he’s a charlatan in league with the things. I found some nasty info about that guy along the way.
Or perhaps this could all be theater for the breakaway civilization, lol?
If you have any specific questions, just ask. I have a lot more information.
Here’s some UFO folks whose writing are worth looking into:
-Dr. Jacques Vallee
-Dr. John Mack
-Dr. David Jacobs
Forgot to mention cattle mutilations. They’ve had a recent uptick.
Yet to date, nobody’s ever been brought to justice by law enforcement.
Any technologically advanced civilization that could traverse the galaxy would be advanced enough to achieve such scientific observation in a less intrusive manner, or at least not leaving any evidence behind.
The corpses are left behind to create a climate of fear.
Leaving the aliens aside for one second, I wonder how much of this isn’t motivated by people looking for a different story?
– “Capitalism” as we practice it is in the process of collapse as evidenced by it’s inability to provide large numbers of people with opportunities for meaningful and personally fulfilling participation in society.
– “Socialism” is a well known dead end that no one can really get excited about beyond that first “free shit” step
– “Science” has been so thoroughly compromised by political and business considerations that no one believes anything coming from an “expert” any longer.
– “Spirituality” while helpful for individuals has the same problems Science does as soon as you try to get a big following going. Modern communication networks make it impossible for the thoughtful to see anything but frail humans trying to wring “private jet money” out of their followers.
So maybe a good story that everyone can believe in could really only come from outside of this world? Maybe its a story about a terrifying new enemy that all races, creeds etc must unite to fight against. Maybe its the story of our cosmic parents come to pick us up and finally reveal the mysteries.
Kurt Vonnegut wrote a book where it turned out the entirety of human civilization was explained as aliens manipulating us to become technologically advanced enough to build a part for a broken spaceship stuck on the moon of Titan. Even that seems like a more satisfying explanation of everything to me than any of the options we currently have and that’s just a fictional novel.
Whatever explanation the government offers us, we may be surprised to see just how quickly everyone accepts it rather than how fiercely they resist it.
I always liked Kurt Vonnegut’s writing. Or you could just read the Bible.
Many, religious or not, have heard of the “mark of the beast.” I always assumed, getting the mark was the first step, then you’d be allowed to buy or sell and not be ostracized from society. Walk around with a visible mark on your forehead, easily seen when you enter an establishment, and others on the street won’t beat you up. (Like the mark of Cain.)
Now, I am wondering if the actual physical mark is just the last step in a sequence of choices, for convenience. It seems the passports are already being used to allow people to enter stores and other venues.
Slaughterhouse Five? Might want to write “Spoiler” on that comment, lol.
Jacques Vallee’s book Messengers of Deception deals with UFO cults and government agencies manipulating the UFO reality for their own benefit. Many times in his books he mentions a control system via which humankinds concepts are re-arranged.
I’m also reminded of Carl Jung’s book, Flying Saucers.
My husband was an acquaintance of John Mack’s. After he had his book about this topic published, Mack bought 12 copies for his friends. Steve Bassett, lawyer and congressional lobbyist purchased 25 copies and handed them out to several congressmen.
Ralph Blumenthal used late husband’s book for reference before the articles in the New York times came out.
My best guess is it is occult, in that it is hidden. But beyond that, it becomes very fuzzy, because there is quite possible there is more than one intelligence involved with differing intentions.
Scientists alone, are not equipped to study it, for a few different reasons. Scientists measure things and gain knowledge through experimentation. The phenomenon, for the most part, is experiential. It appears to be more adept in the mental environment.
In that case, a multi-disciplinary approach that included intelligence operatives, would be required. They’d still be limited, but might be able to glean some kernel of understanding. And if that understanding was…we will never understand it– that is something.
I’m really interested in what the government chooses to reveal but will never buy that this is a threat, in the traditional military sense. But…it could pose a threat in other ways that are more subtle and under the radar.
As far as demonology goes, that gets into angels versus devils and invigorates Judeo Christian binary thinking. As a working hypothesis, it’s valuable and could be protective.
But the standard ‘friend of foe’ filter for this isn’t entirely appropriate until humans, as a species look at their own behavior–particularly in areas where we dominate. We are trashing the planet while causing pain and suffering to animals through agribusiness. In this respect, we are demonic ourselves.
Steven Kelso, I have had a Close Encounter of the fourth kind…and nobody wants that. I worry that human preoccupation with this topic on a mass scale may cause these events to occur more frequently. So I am quite happy to speak with people on this topic, but never argue with them, if they have no interest in it, because, that may turn out to be a good thing.
