SolarFest New England Renewable Energy Festival

For those of you in the Northeast, you may be interested in attending Solarfest: http://www.solarfest.org/

It runs all weekend long, Friday thru Sunday. It’s in West-Central Vermont. There’s 95 workshops on all kinds of topics, like renewable energy and agriculture.

Re: SolarFest New England Renewable Energy Festival

For anyone interested in next year’s SolarFest – my partner and I attended for the first time this year, their 15th.  We learned an amazing amount of information.  Because he is a contractor and carpenter, he primarily attended the green building workshops.  I primarily attended the sustainable agriculture and renewable energy workshops.  Our take away knowledge will require much further research and discussion, but we are both much farther along the knowledge path than we were last week.  It is well worth your time and the expense.
