Latest pronouncement by the WHO:

In a news briefing in Geneva on Wednesday, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said many vaccinated people were wrongly thinking receiving the COVID shot meant they no longer needed to take any other precautions.“In many countries and communities, we are concerned about a false sense of security that vaccines have ended the pandemic, and that people who are vaccinated do not need to take any other precautions,” Tedros told reporters.

“We cannot say this clearly enough: even if you are vaccinated, continue to take precautions to prevent becoming infected yourself, and infecting someone else who could die.”

Vaccine: A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but some can be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.

The real question is why isn’t vitamin D considered a vaccine?  Why can’t I just suck down 10,000 IUs of vitamin D and write that on my vaccine card?

I was wondering the same not too long ago. The short answer is, it’s called a vaccine, because they said so. And when their own definition no longer matched what this vaccine did, they changed it – the definition that is.

My conspiracy theory is that as soon as it is FDA approved for kids it falls under the 1986 liability coverage if it is a vaccine.

If it is a therapeutic or a prophylactic all their legal protections go up in smoke.

Actually by definition it should be a gene therapy as defined by the FDA/EMA/PMDA.  Latest definition I’ve seen was in September in ICH S12 which clearly lays out that these are gene therapy and then states that the guidance doesn’t apply to “prophylactic vaccines”.

Seems to me one aspect would be that it adds to the propaganda/programming that’s been building up for quite a while. Similar to the conspiracy-theorist term anti-vaxer invokes a certain response in some people. Perhaps they can’t be seen to be part of “that” crowd.. perhaps they want to consider themselves sane and part of the “good” crowd etc.

Seems to be another part of the psychological manipulation that plays on peoples need to belong to society and not be judged. Suspect it is primarily effective on people who are more concerned about going along with the crowd and belonging vs thinking for themselves and doing what they think is best for them. Another way to say it: perhaps it mostly affects those who place a greater value on what other people think of them vs <any other concern>. Suspect there are quite a few other aspects to it that are subtle and not immediately obvious.

Also see it as just another part of a very old strategy to divide and conquer. Consider where we would be today if these things were referred to as therapeutics or some other less inflammatory term. Doesn’t invoke a pre-programmed emotional response – anti-vaxer is a lot more emotionally charged and helps to form more cracks. More places to drive a wedge into. Also wins over a significant % of the population from the start as they accept it as part of their duty as a good citizen having seen the anti-vx term being shown to them in a negative light for so long.

It’s because of this: When I use a word it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.

Whatever happened to the guy who first said that?
